This shit is old already. Four months spent thinking about spring. WTF ?

Can't wait to put the northeast in my rear view mirror.

Thankfully no car; Brooklyn street still unpassable (untouched by snowplows) Tuesday morning.

Price we pay for living in the Northeast. Although for this storm it encompassed much of the east coast. Temps in FLA are 10-15 degrees below normal.

Which is worse, a big snow storm in your home town or being in Florida and it being 20 degrees cooler than normal.

Gimme the snow day that I did not pay for any day.

I'll take any weather over So. Florida any day. (as long as it's not humid)

Here is the snow from my terrace last winter when my place was still under construction. It even filled up my pool with snow!

That look very deep. How often does snow like that happen? We had our lowest temperatures ever recorded (-22C dont know what that is if F). I'm starting to wonder is global warming a myth?

It looks all pretty until you have to shovel it. Had about 18 inches but with the wind some snow drifts were 3 to 4 feet. I felt like I was digging trenches to prepare for a war. I have been home for 3 days snowed in, streets are not fully plowed and trains are still suspended at this moment, well my line anyway. Hopefully it will get better soon, getting cabin fever.

I've never seen a place with so many windows Jennifer ! You'll have to give us a before and after...it's a great looking place.

And BTW....I'm trying to figure out what the correlation between beautiful T Ladies and snow. There's about 20 replies to this thread and 5 or 6 of them are from beautiful ladies.......hmmmmmmm. Maybe there's something to this? LOL

The older I get the more I hate winter. Was thinking of the Carolina's or something; however, they aren't having much fun either.

I'd bring my snow thrower to NYC and help you ladies out but where do you put the snow? I see building, sidewalk, then street. I guess you could put it across the street and piss them off.

As well you should be. It's funny...Light is essential and rejuvenating , but I could never deal with a bedroom with so much light....especially after a night of partying ! LOL

As far as the terrace, it's beautiful and the wood gives it that warm feel against all the concrete buildings surrounding it. I was at a party in Greenwich recently that had a similar terrace overlooking the Sound, although Mahogany. I suppose at some point ivy or vines would be in order to provide a natural canopy?
