Blue Moon Nights in LA, my first time there

I went to Blue Moon Nights in North Hollywood last week and I gotta say, this place was pretty lame! The crowd wasn't very large (probably due to the rain) and the guys in there were kinda creepy, all lurking about in a strip club sort of way.

It was basically a who's who of porn queens and LA "working girls" of the dozen or so girls that were there including a couple of Go-Go dancers that looked nice, but didn't seem approachable at all.

No "real" normal, "non-working" girls so to speak.

Its similar to the NYC parties which are basically "working girls" doing biz, looking for potential clients while they are partying with each other.

I wouldn't say this is a place to go an meet anyone, unless you are looking for a menu of hookers.

I've been to the old Cobra Lounge and the 7969, and its seemed like a better crowd, many more girls, and the girls didn't feel like they were all working, and were much more approachable.

That was my experience.

The girls in NY are definitely more friendly on the speaking tip, but last time i was there i had girls offering me blow in the club, I dont "party" so it was definitely a huge turnoff.

There is always the oxwood and hamburger marys. Tons of crossdressers there though if thats what you are looking for. I went to the LB christmas event that was supposed to be big and it there wasnt a ton of people there either, but it was raining. Rain will do that. I don't go out too often. The last time I went to blue moon was for lucia's launch party and the place had people everywhere. Seems like midnight is when people show up to these places.

The club is really nice. It's clean and it doesn't smell like ass.
Yes there are some creepy dudes in there. However, there are always creepy dudes at TS clubs. At least some of them tip the dancers, so that's good.

The girls there are beautiful, sweet, nice, and a lot of fun. But it takes time to get to know them. Most of these girls get hit on and propositioned for sex constantly. So, when you see them hanging out and partying with their friends, its nothing personal, they are just hanging out and trying to have a good time.

To be honest alot of the girls work in general its a fact not "Opinion" Yes you will see it everywhere but. You gotta look past that at times, Usually Me Willie Esco and Yogi2002 are just hanging out with our friends having fun in fact last thursday we did just that! so if you are in town again or anyone else hit us all up because then we can show you what goes on at these parties, so you are not "that guy" in the corner all alone wondering whats going on.

Its just that I felt like any of the girls there were sizing me up for how much they could get me to pay.

I guess I just get frustrated at finding a non-alteranitive crowd in the t-community. I've been to a lot of TS clubs all over the world and you are almost always going to get a few girls working, whether agressively or not. My fave club was the old Queen Mary, which had a relaxed feel and zero pressure (although I do recall Olivia Love getting humped against a wall!). Cobra was the best of the rest for being able to go and just hang-out without bunches of creepy guys, seeing lots of girls from the top porn/model types through to the girls dressing only for the night and unlike other places (remember Peanuts!) you could get talking to the girls without being hit for a drink in 5 mins.

I've yet to visit Blue Moon's but almost everyone who has been there, likes it. I mean, what are you looking for? Your handle on here is "bottom male for top TG" - if you are looking friends/relationship you are not putting out that vibe with that handle and probably aren't in the club either? In fact, you are probably putting out the signs that you are looking to be a punter?

OK, I can't call bullshit on the OP, but my experience was TOTALLY different: I went to one of the first Blue Moon parties and I thought it was far different from the NYC parties, of which I'm kinda a connoisseur. Blue Moon felt like any other straight club I've ever been to, except the girls were way hotter and there were porn stars there. Amy was a very nice waitress. Morgan was a very nice bartender. Never felt sized up once. Had small talk with Domino and Britney Markham who just introduced herself and started talking. Only one chick seemed $$$ obsessed---- I told her her dress was banging and she answered "I accept tips". Easily things coulda changed, but honestly I'd go to the west coast just to experience that type of night again... and I was extremely tired and wasn't really looking to be too social that night.
Oh yeah, and I noticed some of the notorious guys on here. Didn't talk to 'em but they seemed pretty cool. All around A+ night IMO.

That's pretty scary when someone who's been to Blue Moon complains about working girls when they've been to Cobra or 7969. Those two places are the reason I don't go to clubs catering to TS ladies. I don't think I ever met a girl who wasn't working.
