Loser, never have sex with strangers without a condom. You can only have unprotected sex with a long-time trustful lover!

:iagree:Bareback is fun, butt it's not worth the risk of doing it with someone you don't know or can't trust.

"someone they described as a "known positive." "

So he gets to kill that person now, right?

The clinic would not identify the performer because of patient confidentiality.

Umm what, confidentiality is good, but in this type of work, something needs to be changed. IMO

'Performers need to be educated' he says.

It's 2010 for goodness sake. There's plenty literature out there. If he's bi (he says he has a girlfriend and he was also working in gay porn movies) and he hasn't bothered to educate himself about HIV/AIDS, then he's got a brass neck trying to point a finger at someone, anyone, else and saying 'they' should have educated him.

As for patient confidentiality. I'm sure no one here would appreciate it if they had some kind of illness, and their doctor went and told their employer behind their back. (Let alone go to the press.) The difficulty arises when the patient can go on to harm other people. Who acts for them? Should it become a police matter? How would the police even know? Should a doctor inform the police if they believe a patient is about to harm someone else?

If he was positive and knew about it surely that is a serious offence and could be taken to court?

Has happened, not easy tho

This industry needs private doctors and a full union of them with a record accessible in a similar way to a CRB check. You want a performer do a check on that database then if they are Positive then they MUST wear a condom in their scenes ALSO their potential co-stars MUST ALSO be informed.
Make it contractual for ALL performers to sign up to that system, "personal privacy" is one thing but when it can seriously harm others then it is just wrong.

Of course, that doesn't mean he's gay because he could use the excuse guys here use: it's not the sexual act that makes him gay, but to what he is attracted. He could just say he is attracted to his girlfriend, which gives him a get out of Boystown free card when he's out and about sucking cock. Therefore, he can suck cock until there's no more air, but he's still straight because he is attracted to the feminine persona of his girlfriend.

Right?
