View Full Version : Who Would You Like To See As The Main Villain In Next Season's Dexter?

I've been a Dexter fan from the start and the show has had some great baddies. John Lithgow was the best by far. Peter "RoboCop" Weller has been a blast watching this season even though he's more of a supporting villain. Who would you like to see as Dexter's main target next season? I've seen people suggest Keifer Sutherland and Jeff Goldblum. I think those are both good choices. My choice?...

... Michael Rooker

A Female, someone he cant understand quite as well, a better challenge. You think Lumen will be back next season?

Lumen won't be back.

A female, huh? A female would almost have to be twice as evil as a male so the audience would be able to pump their fist in satisfaction after Dexter killed a broad in the finale. Possibly a woman that had a miscarriage or was a drug addict whom Social Services took away her child. She gets revenge by abducting and killing children. It's not an original premise but anything less grim wouldn't work. Jennifer Jason Leigh might be good.

A tag team consisting of Jason Alexander and Carlton Banks.

But seriously. Dennis Leary would bring an element of intensity. Perhaps he could be a leader of a gang with a serial killer edge.

Most of the bad guys so far haven't been that nasty. The villains have been waaaaayy too clean-cut so far. But I enjoyed when Lithgow called his wife a cunt at the dinner table.

I want to see a badguy who has an edge, is nasty badass, and batshit insane.

Vinnie Jones meets all your criteria. That work for you?

Yes but I think the range of acting required for the show would be too much for him.

He would be great as one of the villain's thugs though.

The bad guy from Inglorious Basterds would be pretty awesome.

Eric Bana. He's done some good work over the years. Intense, dark, crazy - he can go there.

I don't think it's aired yet. I've only managed to see the penultimate episode where I'm at anyway. Next week ...

I thought someone may have heard something from a Dexter forum online.
WHen his wife was killed at the end of last season, it was one of few times that I was emotionally distraught from an incident occurring on a television series.

I want it to be the babysitter. she will her to either kill or kidnap the baby. No, I dont condone hurting children but just from a writing/script perspective, the baby gone or in danger would take the series to pretty sick and crazy places!

Great Idea Dino.
I love Micheal Rooker. He's really underrated. He was great as Merle on the Walking Dead (he'll be back as the "Governor").

These guys are pretty scary. They could work a trailer park angle with Bubbles as the devious mastermind like Keyser Soze. ^-^

Michael Rooker makes all things better. I'm hoping he comes back in The Walking Dead. It would be a waste to have him offed in such a mysterious way. I think he'll return. No spoilers please guys.

Congrats on the new Transsexual Cheerleaders video. You look great. I'm glad things have worked out well since you moved to LA.

I've only caught episodes sporadically , did they catch the one that killed Dexter's mom?

If not then the last killer he goes after should be him or her , the one that gave him his "dark passenger" and made him who he is. :shrug

I don't think they caught that guy but my memory is crap. Even so, that guy would be old as Hell. Have Hal Holbrook play him. In his Little Rascal Scooter, he'll always stay one step ahead of Dexter and taunt him using his cell phone with the giant buttons.
