The quality of his videos was off the chain. He always showed the girls walking around,,giving the viewer a real show. I dropped many loads to his Voyeur series and wished he had gotten into shemale video production.

I remember watching this guy in the early 80's when I first got a video recorder. Aside from his obvious talents and looks, he seemed to be a natural on camera and dialog with an edginess/cockyness that would have made him a fantastic theatrical actor. The camera loved him.

He did some shit with Shauna McCloughan in the 80's that was a 2 decades ahead of everybody else. In one role in particular he played a voyeur husband and it's still some of the hottest shit I've ever seen.

RIP

John Leslie (R.I.P.) my number 1 porn idol.
Evil Angel will never be the same.
I started idolising him back in the early 80's best pornstud ever the ladies truly loved him.
While employed at a Los Angeles strip club I worked with quite a few dancers that had worked him and being that he was and always be my number 1 porn idol I would immediately start off the conversation how was it to work with John Leslie?
I'm on these adult oriented forums because of my true love of porn especially the Golden Age Of Porn (1970 -1985).

He was an artist....he elevated hardcore fucking to art.
His features The Dog Walker and Drop Sex were groundbreaking and disturbing.
He set a standard that has yet to be surpassed.

Wow,Marilyn Chambers last year, and Jamie Gillis along with John Leslie this year. Both Gillis and Leslie were about the same age too.

If I could ask either Gillis or Leslie one question it would start with,"Was there one star or starlette who you got to work with that ..." :)

The Dogwalker is groundbreaking in so many ways.
You can say that was the actually beginning to the Evil Empire a term that the late Jim Holliday came up with to describe the line up of talented directors at Evil Angel John "Buttman" Stagliano,John Leslie,Greg Dark,Rocco Siffredi,Joey Silvera and Christoph Clark, all of whom are in the AVN Hall Of Fame.
The Dog Walker when John Leslie was turned down by the company he was currently directing for VCA Pictures due violent content he then took his idea to John Stagliano who gladly accepted and John Leslie had his company Eye For An Productions distributed by Evil Angel.
Soon afterwards John Stagliano started adding these great directors to his Evil Angel lineup.
