The gals in WWII paved the way for women like my wife who I met over twenty three years ago when I worked at an aircraft engine factory. She was an engine assembler and I was an inspector. I loved to watch her work, especially when she would lock wire the bolts. She was quick and good and often was chosen to rework other assemblers' work.
