I love this site and feel very welcome here - but I just wondered if anyone could advise me of what is the best dating/personals site for the transgendered community?

I don't mean escorting - I completely respect those who do - I just mean for people to hang out and meet and expand their contacts without any agenda?

If you're in the UK you could try TVchix.com... and they do actually have a lot of American and international members too
