The polls don't look good. If you're for it get your butts out there and vote "YES On Prop 19".

If you're not for it please explain why Marijuana should be illegal if it's sold to people over 21 like booze.

For the posters in California: vote for it or get banned.

Even if it does pass it would still be illegal on the federal level.

Word on the street is that stoners are hard to track and very few who are not stoners will admit to intending to vote for Prop 19 while pot is still illegal. Well, duh! The measure was down by 7 points last I checked, but the polls are all over the map. This one won't be over until it's over.

Will California Legalize Marijuana Today? If they do, I may have to move out there :)

I hear that the growers aren't happy at the prospect. They complain that they'll be regulated, taxed, be displaced by corporate farms and as a consequence a lot of home-bred, quality strains will go extinct. So all you Californians out there, remember to support your local dealer: smoke local loco.

No matter how many times you tell some people they still think 12 year olds will be able to casually walk into a store and buy a baggy.

Even if Prop 19 doesn't pass it's so easy just to get a Medical Marijuana Card (http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=get+medical+marijuana+card+los+angeles&aq=f&aqi=g2g-m1g-o1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=2304850557947867) and buy at Dispensaries (http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=marijuana+dispensaries+los+angeles&aq=f&aqi=g5&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=2304850557947867).

Oh, and Steve Cooley, running for Attorney General is anti-Medical Marijuana. Vote no on Steve Cooley.

Even if it doesn't today it will eventually and probably within 5 years.

I'm voting for it but I agree that it wont pass today. But anyway it turns out it IS a symbolic victory. It's time to get the average non smoking citizen aware of the cost of criminalizing pot. I used to belong to the Drug Policy Foundation and read a lot about the US crazy polices towards drugs in general and pot specifically . The best part of this bill would be to open the floodgates for researchers to finally delve into the vast amounts of remedies found in marijuana
