View Full Version : Question, for the ladies, about TS lifestyle.

Bare with me Im going to ramble for a second!
Not judging, but it is probably safe to say that a HUGE majority of ts's escort for a living. I know alot of it has to do with necessity. You all need surgeries, hormones, and constant physical upkeep, etc... which costs quite a bit. But how many of you would do something else if you had a chance? Something other modeling, porn, or escorting? I was looking at this picture (below) and i began to wonder about their lives. Patricia is getting pretty famous and might now have a means to make large income without escorting...but getting that famous is rare, obviously. Im sure both of these ts's have escorted for years. And I bet they are not in any serious relationship with a man. Now I wonder if they still had a chance at another life would they take it? Do you think either of these girls would? (or any of the girls on this board.) So ladies, if you had a choice between the life you live now(...making alot of money escorting and in porn. And being part of the crazy, fun, ts party scene.) or living with a husband and communting to work, in a cubicle, everday and struggling to make ends meet, being kind of bored, like the rest of us...would you?

Seriously, ask yourselves this and tell the truth. I really am curious.

because i think both of these girls would rather escort and be in the world they are in now than live what we consider a normal life

Most women in some form or another are 'selling' it, whether formally or informally. Of course if a TS has better opportunities to make money, who wouldn't???
But IMO these type of threads are patronizing full of self-righteous pity. All escorts are at best temporary workers in the business, whether they have a back up plan in the works or whatever.

If I could make bank from chicks who were rubbing themselves out to be fucced by ME(!!), I'd be doing some tricks on the side too.

:yayo: Oh sweet damn! That girl in the black is FINE as hell! toopretty. I'm not going to hate on baby girl making some money the route of the world's oldest, skilled profession.

But some times the whole sex industry is made out to be this martyrs choice. An issue simply to do with insufficient money by the female agents involved (less often is this deemed a reasonable excuse for males - gay or otherwise).

Supposedly, many male bodybuilders have sold themselves sexually to men to finance their steroid and growth hormone usages.

When I was in Las Vegas I got to see some outstanding (butt naked) strip clubs. Many young white women. Many with the vocabulary of middle-class rearing. Not only that, the United States has the largest porn industry in the world (Brazil in 2nd place), and the United States is the wealthiest nation on earth, with a strong Western feminist culture. Abject poverty and female oppression can't explain away the scale of the sex industry in the United States.

Brazilian transsexuals are noted for traveling to Italy (and Sicily) to earn their wealth. Some become better off financially than a lot of Joe Blow men humping bricks around 8 hrs a day in the U.S.

Compare and contrast the material conditions (type of cars, housing, clothing etc.) between these Brazilian transsexuals in Italy from the black African immigrant men living in Italy. If those Brazilian transsexuals became men they would probably be living like those black African men.

The 4th and 3rd video show a dramatic living difference. Of course, I suppose it is possible Brazilian transsexuals in Italy can be found living in such squalor too. I dunno... never been there. (eh... my plane did land in Naples once LOL)

I would say that you are confusing the TS lifestyle with your perception of the escort/model lifestyle. I'm a ts and I don't escort, never done porn or modeling. I've never had any problems getting a regular job. I work in cubicle and have no problem making ends meet. I'm single and having a pretty active dating life. Its just an image, a majority of my girlfriends that do escort and/or model are in relationships and their lives are just as boring when they are not working or promoting themselves.

most of my TS friends are not even escort or into porn. I think from my friends only me or 2 of us are escorts ;)

When the only t-girls you know are on Eros, you might conclude that all t-girls are escorts...

Yeah I think I have to question the phrase "Huge Majority".

On here there is a majority because the site is sex themed. In real life things are much different.

That's funny, however if by hot you mean passable then all the real hot ones have been transitioning since childhood and live in deep stealth, not even detectable to the most experience of tranny chaser. Outside the World Wide WEB there's actually a bigger real world where girls aren't available to you at the click of a button.

Trannies need a man who knows what he is getting himself into and likes them for being trans, I hate all that DL crap.

I hate using that word 'lifestyle' to describe being transsexual. It makes it sound like we had a choice. :wiggle:

I agree with this one, I only heard lifestyle being associated with TS girls in Western countries. In Asia being a Transexual is simply us not a lifestyle at all. We are just being true to ourselves and do what our heart, mind and soul is. Im dating an American guy before and he keeps on saying and asking about my TS lifestyle, I said to him its not a lifestyle at all Im just simply me just like what a genetic girl or straight guy do ;)

So, are you saying you date a t-girl openly then? You'd take her home to meet your folks, and take her to hang out with your friends?

I've never escorted or done porn myself. I have a 9 to 5 working in a cubicle in the computer industry. It can be mundane at times, but I much rather put up with the most boring day sitting at my desk counting the seconds tick by, rather than have to endure the egos of some of the sleaze bags I've seen trying buy a date for the night; much less actually giving them pleasure from sticking any part of their wretched body's anywhere in mine. *shiver*

A dude should like them for the women they are, not remind them all the time of how they are trans either by getting off on it, making it a point of constant discussion or feeling embarrassed by it around friends or family.

Phobun, I think Daryl was just making a point. Why do you have to be so obtuse about what he said and argumentative all the time over the littlest things?

To me transexual is a job.
I am a woman and I live as such.
I am only a transexual when it comes to making money.
the men who refer to me and treat me like a transexual are paying clients.

I've been in 2 serious long-term relationships with trans girls, totally 100% open, met my whole family (and extended) plus been to my job several times. I am 100% open with everyone, people are afraid to give ME shit! Out in public EVERYDAY, EVERYWHERE!

Fuck what the world thinks, I do me!

The sex industry, of which this site is an extension, tends to give a distorted POV. I couldn't tell you what percentage are escorts vs non-escorts. I used to think I could estimate it, but now I'm not so sure.

I like Daryl's approach. Being open is definitely the way to go. Lot's of rewards from being real, not to mention the stress it causes internally from living a lie if you're a thoughtful man.

BTW, one of my S.O.'s best friends happens to be a TGirl (non-escort). And no, there isn't any sex involved. It was just an accident of fate that they became close friends and their friendship has given me some interesting new perspectives about what you called "the lifestyle".

Well, I personally had a real job for a long time. I worked in a salon and did hair and all for a very long time. I can always go back to it if I want. The escorting lifestyle affords me the opportunity to pursue my artistic side. Where in the artistic world u cant make a living. I wouldn't change my life, it has made me very happy person!

Not that I should have to apologize, but, I hope you don't take my calling you "sweetie" in the wrong way, in a negative way.
