Though the current conversion rate of the US dollar to the Thai baht is
1.00 USD = 29.945 THB, and the Pratunam Poly Clinic is offering GRS at
$1600, I would strongly encourage women contemplating GRS to look
elsewhere.

There are many highly qualified and competent surgeons in Thailand, but
I don't feel that Thep Vechavisit who may not even be a doctor, and who
is not board certified should be someone that a woman trust such a
serious surgery to.

Admittedly I have not seen any of his work first-hand, and am only aware
of him from other post op women or those considering GRS.

However there have been reports that women who have had surgery with
him are experiencing in-adequate depth, and that he may be performing
"Hijra" style surgeries, which consist of a penectomy, orchiechtomy, and
the creation of a very shallow vaginal cavity, if there is one at all.

I heard results from the Pratunam Clinic are variable; I have been asked before and have always replied -do a lot of research, ask around a lot, because sometimes people are reluctant to admit they are not satisfied with the procedure they had done because it might appear they lacked the judgement when making the choice in the first place, and price is no indicator of excellence.
