A lot of the guys on here are rude to the girls. You would guess thats why a lot of them left.

I've actually been sharing HA topics on my Facebook. I have 4600 friends, but I'm not sure it helps. I think a lot of people just come here to lurk. The thing that's missing on this forum is an easily identifiable core group of posters. Most of the main characters of this story come on and off stage throughout the production so to speak. :geek:

c.Then you have the guys who are uncomfortable w/ their sexuality.
d. The namecalling , racial slurs , trolling

No girl ever leaves after an altercation with a guy. It's always an altercation with another girl. Which was allowed as an open-fire session by the mods.

I miss a lot of stuff, sure, but Facebook does a pretty good job of prioritizing what's important. I also leave IM's OFF for obvious reasons. :lol:

I really think it's the calming pastel color scheme. It mellows me out just to look at it. I'm sure I am not the only one. The board had allot more drama before the color change. Now when a guy is a judgemental prick, or a girl want to start some stuff it just does not seem as serious as it did before.

I have stayed because of all the threads that show many members supporting a common issue, like fighting racism/rape/abuse/etc., sharing thoughts of friends and associates that are suddenly resting in peace, or the attacks on jerks who seem to love reading their own diatribe! I also stay because I have realized that many contributors are beautful people with occassionally weird thoughts like me!

This forum was full of outsiders looking in
the girls get tired of people who only know what they see online constantly talking shit about shit they don't know.

It's not dead, but there's less white-hot drama all the time, 24/7. People still participate and promote themselves, but all forums IMO go through lulls in activity.

I wouldn't expect the interest to be the same for everyone nonstop since so many of the topics/discussions are ones that have already been recycled several times already.
