TS Performer Nominees 2006

I am thinking there must be a huge mistake on the TS Performer of the Year nominees. The only four listed are Gia, Joanna, Wendy, and I.

I am honestly really disturbed by this. Everyone on my site fet that Danielle was a lock for this year. Hopefully the list was truncated and they have more than four nominees.

I can not believe the short list. Everyone on the list deserves a nomination, but it is my personal opinion that Danielle Foxxx and Yasmin Lee would win the award. Shemale Yum gets snubbed again, WTF! I also thought Bob and Buddy had a great video this year. I do not understand some of those AVN Awards, especially New Starlet (I believe some of those ladies been in the business for more than a year). Anywho, congratulations to all the people that got nominated for an award.

Just a quick note for some misconceptions,,,,,,,,,,Videos have a cut off date for nomimation therefore alot of videos you guys are mentioning werent released until after nominations therefore will be on next years nomination ballots example Buddys Neighborhood.

Also we as a transsexual community dont have 1000's of performers to nominate just to have sheer numbers so you cant really say hey females have 15 nominations and the ts's only have 4 however I do also believe Danielle should have beenon the list......So we can really rationally think just because mainstream has 15 we would, there isnt enough constant workers out there and just because you release a couple videos doesnt mean AVN will automatically give someone a nod, I had 4 last year and wasnt nominated. Yasmeen is a great entertainer however every video she was released in she was a bottom and every scene was almost the same typical ts does guy or ts does girl maybe not having versitility until recently (after the video cutoff) may have kept her out of the nominations.

Ladies like Carmen Cruz did alot of work at the end of the year sadly most of those videos came after nomination deadline. Therefore if she continues to produce videos and versitility she should be in it next year.

Vaniity only did one video this year.

that's probably one of the biggest downsides of AVN Transexual
Award nominees, as it's a very limited group to choose from
and most of them reside in the very convient west coast area.

Sure on occasion , we will see some first time appearances
from some of the tgirls we have long been waiting to see
perform on camera for the first time.
but on continuous basis , we won't see that face/performance
afterwards .

Too bad we cannot get the Latina Brazillian girls in the mix of this
awards since they make up the majority of trannie films
today , are beautiful and plentiful.

Thugstation is another one of those guys, judging from his posts, that works desperately to build up his "I'm not gay!" view of himself. I'll never understand why some people worry so much about what other people may think of them. The whole "straight/gay/bi/whatever" thing is dead and was really silly to begin with. As far as the 2006 AVN award, I've already said I think Joanna will get it.

I read the Best TS Release nominees and was surprised that Rogue 25 wasn't on there. I haven't seen it myself (really, I haven't), but from what I've read posted here and on her forum, there was a kick-ass Vicki scene (the infamous "Officer Richter" one), and apparently the video sold out it's first run in just a few weeks (which is very uncommon, unheard or really, as far as I can tell). Maybe it missed the deadline, I don't get how these things work. If it had been on the list, I bet that would have won that catagory.

I haven't seen any new TS videos this last year at all, so what do I know? But my money is on Joanna for Performer Of The Year 2006, and I think she deserves it.

25 was available for nomination however Rogue Adventures 24 was nominated which was one of the three nominated I was in,,,,,other 2 being Anabolic Tgirls 2 and my own video.

25 I did see and Vicki's scene was awesome, her and Jagger gave a great scene.

Joanna and Vicki both were in "Suck My Tranny Cock" which is a nom.
Joanna was also in "Wendys Wild Shemales" and "Anabolic Tgirls 2"

AVN awards their biggest advertisers with the largest prizes, it's a known fact. It is corrupt and it is political (award those who contribute the most) - go through an count the number of Gia Darling adverts compared to Evil Angels adverts.
It's a load of bollocks.
Maybe this year because there are so few we will get something different but after they made a concession to Shemale Strokers last year, I doubt it.
