Like I said before, you are right in some regards but only in reference to a certain subset of men. Oof! I don't find that statement true at all, and way to dehumanize an entire community of girls! I've dated a couple of TS girls and there was nothing fetishistic to it. We simply didn't workout because of chemistry. But the relationship at the time was certainly real, and certainly heartfelt.

We all want to look good enough to walk down the street with out being called a fag! It's a horrible feeling to feel outed and to be spotted.

Many of us want to be able to get married and lead a normal productive female life, with out being spooked. Keep in mind many of you men wont date us serious unless we can't be detected. Much less marry us.

We all want to be loved, and it drives us towards fixing our outside even more! Surgery and hormones are a huge part in making this happen. This is what I meant by the vanity. However superficial that is, it makes us more sane, calm, and happy as individuals. We have to love ourselves, before we can love anyone else.

However I will say many of the girls let the attention go to their head! I think many transsexuals are narcissistic, and I also think many who are diagnosed are mis-diagnosed. I think many have body dysphoria, rather than being a transsexual. Lets not forget the many who transition just for escorting and money. Many see themselves as gay men who got tits because it paid more and for the attention. I wouldn't consider that a real transsexual. Others may disagree with me.
