Tell me. I'm stuck on this blackberry for the foreseeable future (due to bbm).
Anyone get that new G2?

I have a bb bold (the old one with the trackball) on t-mobile and a curve 8852 on virgin mobile.

Recently got an LG Touch on Virgin Mobile. Generally like it, inexpensive: keyboard, camera, audio player, messaging, internet, doc viewer, PC connect by USB, etc. Some features a bit sketchy; it's not open-platform like a Droid, so some stuff is more locked down than I'd like (can't import-export contacts/messages/notes, can't install my own applications, doc viewer fairly poor, etc.), but that's the tradeoff for low-cost.

I have the Galaxy S and the G2. Until the Galaxy S gets the Froyo 2.2 update (wake up Samsung) the G2 is officially the 2nd fastest phone in NYC as far as anything, the 1st being the Nexus One. Physically the G2's slideout k/b is risky for anyone that half ass takes care of their phone, other than that one of the best constructed phones IMO ever built. Well done HTC.

I would like an Iphone 4, or perhaps that new blackberry thing looks nice, or some of those Htttc phones, but they are very expensive to buy on pay as you go ...

Love the N900. I was leaning towards a Dell Streak. I was disappointed it wasn't on TMO which has much cheaper and faster 3G service in Los Angeles since everybody and their momma has an Iphone/Ipad here.

Palm Pre all the way. Linux based OS is the way to go. If you can't install a web server on it than it's not a smart phone.

If you install the lag fix on your Vibrant you will notice a remarkable speed increase and all the laggy feeling will be gone. Check out the performance numbers after I installed it on mine. You can see it here. For some reason it won't show in the post properly. http://flic.kr/p/8Sou3Y

I have a Motorola RAZr V3t, that I've had since rhe RAZr first came out. It works fine, is small and uncumbersome, stores easily and does way more than what I need a phone to to. It's a fuckin' phone people!!!! Those of you that think you need all this multiple 'G' shit....need to get a life!!!

Up until today I had a Blackberry Curve 8330 and Blackberry Pearl 8230. Both of these were decent phones especially the Curve. I am now the proud owner of the Blackberry 9800 Torch. Its a G3 phone which is RIM's answer to the iPhone 4 and let me tell you this thing just plain rocks.

The old man or the phone? I say the phone. The old man was probably laid off and hasn't worked since the Bush Administration.... and maybe will never work again. Part of this "Change" that Obama promised you all.

Currently still using a first gen Motorola Droid on VZW. But the poor thing has been crushed by Android's 2.2 OS (FroYo). The processor just isn't up to the task. As much as I have wanted to upgrade, I couldn't lock myself into another 3G phone with the 4G phones coming so soon.

Currently waiting on the HTC Thunderbolt Android phone, which will use the 4G/LTE network that's already up & running. Unfortunately, VZW delayed the Thunderbolt's release so they could market/sell iPhone 4's without competition from something better. (iPhone 4 is a 3G phone) Rumored release for the Thunderbolt is March 10th.
