Sounds oddly confrontational for a beauty pageant, what a dysfunctional society.

In 2010, it has come to the point that, for a handful of girls, they are utterly unclockable (ie. that girl on belatranscam). Granted, it is necessary for them to be on hormone blockers since before puberty, and on female hormones from puberty on (making them impossible to be tops, cock-hounds), but if they were in a beauty contest, no one could tell the difference. No one. Their entire body would have been formed with female characteristics, down to the bone, and it would be all the same.

Given that, I doubt that Alessia is trans, but the fact that her name is the same as a famous showgirl and she's a wee bit tall, leaves a tiny bit of suspicion there. Still, it's not like that British model who, with a trained eye, one could tell she was post-op. If she's trans, she transitioned at an extremely young age, and is the upper 1% of 1% of 1%, making that highly unlikely (but still remotely possible)...

P.S. This is typical for Italy The country generally likes a bit of trash drama, to a degree even more than the US. Shock and awe in any sort of 'reality' brings up the gossip which has been inherent in Italian culture for ages.
