Are interracial relationships more accepted in the TG community?

I've never dated a white guy but I'm thinking it might be time. So many of the black guys who I talk to about thinking about dating outside of my race get so upset when I say it.

I always thought that (all things considered) trans-attracted men, would be a little more open minded.

As a white guy who hasn't dated anything other than african-american women (and 2 latin transexuals) I really don't think its any more or less accepted. On average urban and younger people don't see race and sexuality like our parents or grandparents. Course, if you had told me I'd date outside my race, or transexuals for that matter, in high school I'd have used some sort of racial term or called you a homo.

I would say those guys who advise you against it are either jealous you haven't picked them, or they themselves have a preference for black over white, or whatever position they are advocating. I wouldn't necessarily say its racism or hate or anything, but more of sticking with what you know and staying in your comfort zone.

Oh, and yes I think i was perfectly equipped to handle a black woman. My last one was with me for 5 years, and until she got hooked on drugs because of her twin sister and her own stupidity and I had to get away, everything was great.

Mixed women are almost always the hottest ones. I don't know why but when you mix two separate ethnicities it almost always seems like the best of each winds up in the kids.

Just because you are dating someone outside your race and its in the TG community doesn't make it more acceptable. The fact of the matter is that there are some prejudice people regardless of their sexual orientation, gender, or race. I was apart of the gay community years back (I'm bisexual), and you wouldn't believe the flack that I would catch from some of the other guys about dating outside my race. You would think in the gay community that it would be different.

I have dated TS outside my race and I get the occassional stares, but nobody has come up and said anything to me about it. I guess it depends on where you live at. I have dated TS's in Italy and nobody cared. I dated TS's in Texas and I get stares.
