The word "Hero" is used all to often. It's used to when describing professional athletes, emergency service personnel, and the men and women in the armed forces. Pat Tillman was a proud humble American who gave up the dream so few get a chance to experience of playing in the Nation Football League. I did not know Pat, however I think he would be humbled by the attention he has received. Pat, in my opinion, is a patriot who deserved to be honored by this country for giving up so much in exchange for so little. God speed, Pat.

I did read somewhere that Krakauer had written a book about Pat Tillman. I've been a fan of Krakauer ever since he wrote a book about Mormonism - a fantastic piece of work, a real eye-opener. If he brings the same skill set to bear on this topic, the book will be a good one.

Army Rangers don't typically 'confuse' other Army Rangers for enemy hostiles. It's so obvious he was fragged out of jealousy and his growing disenchantment with the U.S. mission in Afghanistan, yet there still continues to be a cover-up.
