Ooh, tough one. I tend to ignore the words most of the time and just hear the underlying tunes and rythms. Though I was exceptionaly irked by George Harrison's "Got My Mind Set On You" (I don't even know if that's the actual title) and Wierd Al's oh-so-accurate send-up of it ("This Song's Got Just Six Words") just took it to new levels of awful. Harrison did so much better in his life.

I don't want to jump on the bandwagon here, but it's hard not to view "Built This City On Rock And Roll" as the single worst song of all time. The video just made it even worse.

Hearing "White Rabbit" as a little kid, then seeing these formerly legitimate musicians in ridiculous 80's outfits (Grace Slick with poofy hair!), singing this completely retarded song. What a fuckin nightmare.

It was the ultimate sell out. I imagine they needed the money for another sheet of blotter acid, but that's no excuse.
