I like stupid TV. There is nothing better than watching imbecilic programmes after a long, hard day of work. Yet, my dear friend flabbybody, I tried to make it through one episode of Jersey Shore once. I couldn't. Even for my low standards of intelligence, JS didn't cut it. I kinda envy your TV-stamina.

2 of the cast comes from Staten Island and one is from the Bronx, so saying this is bad for Jersey is just stupid.
and it would be easy to find 20 something kids acting equally crazy in the Hamptons. would that be bad for Long Island's reputation?

I live at the jersey shore, three houses off the beach and boardwalk. These people are all from Staten Island and trash our town. As always, there are some cool ones, but mostly like you see on the "Jersey" show. Very annoying!
They will be gone in about a week, so we get out town back. As the say at the end of each summer "Benny go home!"

lol...it's an even trade off....in New York we get all the Jersey kids every Friday and Saturday to get drunk in the clubs and piss/puke on our streets...then go home to Mommy and Daddy's house in Jersey (and Long Island)...
