i wish i had never shot with them, it really wasnt worth it, and the pics will forever be on the internet whether u like them or not, plus depending on the photographer, it could just be a very degrading experience. Tony Vee is awful, tries to take advantage of you by inserting himself in the photos and expect your cock to get hard at the drop of a dime and expects u to cum when he tells u to. idk about any of the other photographers, but with the rates we make on a single date and the prices we pay for beauty, a little $500 isnt enough, especially seeing how much they make off the site and the fact that ur photos will be recycled over and over on multiple sites

I personally like JPs work out of most all the Yum photos and I have told him that! He has an eye for us girls and puts us in good lighting/setting. For so long people have asked me to do a shoot for a site and I even have a friend who is a model for Steven and has nothing but great words for the company and him! Not everyone is going to have 190 great shots, there are going to be crappy ones but who cares the guys buying em still love em! I being plus size... for so long worried if that would hinder me ever doing porn. But in last few years I have become comfortable in my own skin and ready ro show off how great a plus size ts can look! SO I am very excited to be working with JP soon! And like people said above, yes a shoot is not the kinda money you can make on a date for an hour but it's exposure and gives the fans of you something more to look forward to!!!

Thanks again.. I really do appreciate the compliments. I also have to say that there are a lot of other things that go into a set turning out well, and the model deserves most of the credit.

To be blunt, in the format we currently use for internet porn (sets with 100+ pictures), most of the burden of success falls on the model. In my past history, I worked with professional models for commercial fashion, and for magazines like Maxim. In those cases I would shoot hundreds of pictures, and be looking for only the top 1 or 2 images. Contrast that with a Grooby shoot, where I'm looking to get at least 100 quality images in only a couple hours with the model.

Girls need to practice posing in front of a mirror and learn what poses make their body look best. Some times this comes naturally to a girl, sometimes it takes a lot of practice. At the risk of poking a hornet's nest, Bella, the main problem with your images on YUM is how you are posed. In many of them you are slouching. Also, men naturally tend to pose in one way, and women in another. This is a really hard one for TGirls to overcome because it's a subconscious thing. In your YUM pictures, you are posing in very masculine poses, which is disastrous for a TGirl set where we're trying to emphasize your femininity.

You have definitely improved since then. I've seen other pictures of you that look very feminine. And not surprising, they are probably some of the pictures of yourself that you really like (I'm basing my thoughts that you like them upon you putting them on your blog). If you want, I'd be happy to discuss in private with you some specific examples of what I'm talking about.

I'm also going to guess (complete conjecture on my part) that because of your past experience you feel you need to be very hands on with selecting which images you allow to be published. I could be completely wrong about this, I'm just putting together some of the pieces from various posts you have made. But if that is the case, I would say that in doing so, you are probably killing your own career. I for one, won't work with a model who demands to see and approve every picture before it goes out (and it's not an uncommon demand). I feel that my portfolio speaks for itself, and if I have a model in front of me who listens to my direction, and has practiced posing on her own, then I know the pictures are going to turn out well and I expect the model to have the same confidence level. It's too much of a pain in the arse to have to review the images with a model and argue about which ones are ok and which ones aren't.

a.) you feel comfortable enough with yourself and the way you look
b.) you want to for the experience

If you're doing it solely for the money then it may not be worth it as you have to figure in cost of wardrobe for said as well as travel expenses. If you're in the area already (so travel isn't of concern) and you already have something you're planning on wearing (so wardrobe cost isn't of concern), then it could end up being a lot of fun.

From the photographers I've meet of yum, they are all great guys and a lot of fun to shoot with, though that was just Buddy and Frank.

It could also be a good way to promote yourself depending on how things go.

JP, no hornet's nest, and thanks for the comment. Your assessment of my first set with Yum is pretty accurate. I don't feel I was posing in a masculine fashion, however, I was certainly awkward and unappealing in the first set. In fact, I thought the second set I shot with Yum (on the same day), was quite noticeably better. My issue was mostly with the shot selection used for promotional purposes. I felt that using the photos in question for marketing here and on other boards was in bad taste as it was pretty clear that they were way too close up. Not to mention that this happened after Buddy and Steven were complaining about me pushing them to release my photos so I could move on with my own marketing plan. It's no wonder that I, and indeed others, felt that the move was shady.

The same goes for my next shoot with Bob. First set was awkward, second was killer IMHO. And yes, I've put in quite a bit of work since then, not to mention that fact that I'm really not the model type anyway unless one is looking for more natural models which raises two points for me:

1) I feel that at very least the director shares SOME responsibility for a model's nervousness showing through in photos. It's my job to come as prepared as possible and it's their job to make the set as comfortable as possible, and I just wasn't feeling it until the end. I never said the bad outcome was 100% Grooby's, Steven's, or Buddy's fault. I merely accused them of capitalizing on a bad situation to my detriment and made sure everyone knew how disappointed I was considering that I was beginning to consider Buddy a friend and had depended on him (possibly too much) to help me out. By comparison, Danielle Foxxx made me look spectacular, even though we too have had our personal differences.

2) In some girls' cases, including mine, photos don't do them justice. I'm told repeatedly how much better I look in person and more importantly, how much better my video scenes are. That said, I'm trying to focus more on that. I had a great time on set with Britney Markham and Strokers for SMTC #7 and I think it proved that I'm more of an actress/performer type than a model type. The clip went to #3 on the SMTC best seller list, with #1 being Danielle Foxx and the late Jezebel Yum, so I never had any allusions about being #1.

I just need to find more video work. If anybody can help me with that, it would be immensely helpful to me and frankly, it would probably help me get past my issues with Grooby, since I do feel blacklisted by them.

Like I said in another thread: I'm not sure which came first, the chicken or the egg, but I'm willing to bury the hatchet if they are, even if neither of us plan on working together again due to creative differences.

1. We do photoshop. We've photoshopped every image individually (by hand?) for the last few years and at the moment, our level is excellent. We photoshop out boob scars, some other scarring, pimples, etc. but we're not going to photoshop models until they're unable to be recognized as some do. If there is something reasonable that a model wanted photoshopping out then she could ask before the shoot. Other sites, simply use a technique to blur and soften the images to make them more "glamouress" - it's faster and cheaper but for us, it's not how we like to represent the content. Both sides have their pros and cons but ask why many, many models continue to work with us time and time again?

2. We've never blacklisted any model whatsoever. It's very nice to think we could have some sway over other producers, other than that they often wait until we showcase a model and then see how popular they are before contacting them. We'd only contact another producer in the event something illegal or extremely serious could take place if they worked with them. This is very rare and most of the producers named in these threads have a good relationship with each other but wouldn't "blacklist" a girl just out of someone's apparent spite.

3. Why don't you hear things about SMC? Because they're a fantastic company who provide great quality websites, which is why I promote them all and because they sell extremely well. The models that have worked for them have pretty much great things to say and the product they produce is excellent. Their business model works extremely well for them. My companies business model, is to be more active in social networking, boards, club sponsorships, webmaster meetings and creating things other than just pay sites (our own forums, The Tranny Awards, etc.). I'm vocal and outspoken on things I believe in. This makes us a much easier target (or multiple targets as our photographers are also more transparent). We are much more part of the TS scene as many people in our company or either into the girls, or are tgirls.

With all sincerity Sunshine, working with Buddy or JP for Grooby or for SMC isn't going to be that much different. It's not going to change your life. You seem to be getting a lot of exposure for yourself on places like this already. It's not going to make you into a star or anything like that. It's simply going to place your nude photos in places where a different group of people can see them, brand your name and hopefully bring back what you need it to do for you. Most models end up working for both companies anyway as if you have decided to do it, why not make as much $$$ as you can? Throw in Strokers and Bobs also.

1. We do photoshop. We've photoshopped every image individually (by hand?) for the last few years and at the moment, our level is excellent. We photoshop out boob scars, some other scarring, pimples, etc. but we're not going to photoshop models until they're unable to be recognized as some do. If there is something reasonable that a model wanted photoshopping out then she could ask before the shoot. Other sites, simply use a technique to blur and soften the images to make them more "glamouress" - it's faster and cheaper but for us, it's not how we like to represent the content. Both sides have their pros and cons but ask why many, many models continue to work with us time and time again?

2. We've never blacklisted any model whatsoever. It's very nice to think we could have some sway over other producers, other than that they often wait until we showcase a model and then see how popular they are before contacting them. We'd only contact another producer in the event something illegal or extremely serious could take place if they worked with them. This is very rare and most of the producers named in these threads have a good relationship with each other but wouldn't "blacklist" a girl just out of someone's apparent spite.

3. Why don't you hear things about SMC? Because they're a fantastic company who provide great quality websites, which is why I promote them all and because they sell extremely well. The models that have worked for them have pretty much great things to say and the product they produce is excellent. Their business model works extremely well for them. My companies business model, is to be more active in social networking, boards, club sponsorships, webmaster meetings and creating things other than just pay sites (our own forums, The Tranny Awards, etc.). I'm vocal and outspoken on things I believe in. This makes us a much easier target (or multiple targets as our photographers are also more transparent). We are much more part of the TS scene as many people in our company or either into the girls, or are tgirls.

With all sincerity Sunshine, working with Buddy or JP for Grooby or for SMC isn't going to be that much different. It's not going to change your life. You seem to be getting a lot of exposure for yourself on places like this already. It's not going to make you into a star or anything like that. It's simply going to place your nude photos in places where a different group of people can see them, brand your name and hopefully bring back what you need it to do for you. Most models end up working for both companies anyway as if you have decided to do it, why not make as much $$$ as you can? Throw in Strokers and Bobs also.
What I would ask you to do, when people are slandering our company, is look at the models that are comfortable working for us - and coming back years later and still working for us, talk to the majority of models who have worked with us and read between the lines.

I got on time for the shoot they made me wait for 1 hour before we had the shoot. then the photographer have an assistant. the assistant told me she will have 30-50% of the money ill get from the photographer. so she automatically deduct around 30-50% of 100US$ and i only get paid around 50US$.

i brought it up to the photographer but i didnt get any reply anymore

by the way i dont hate Grooby i even usually encourage my regular clientelle to join that site before since most of them keep on asking me if i have any porn shoots made with any porn site. they are willing to pay 100-200US$ to see a porn shoot of me ;)

If it is what I suspect, that is not an assistant as such, but in countries where we don't speak the language, we do pay local tgirls (usually someone who has modeled for us themselves and who speaks good English) to bring new models, who are usually friends or friends of friends. They get paid quite well this considering all they need to do is explain what is needed and help fill in the paperwork but it seems that in the case, somebody was "double dipping".
I'm talking to Frank today as it's not something we'd condone. We pay the local tgirl - she shouldn't be taking it from the model fees.
