Originally, I came to this site after I read about it on "The Other Site." At that time, I did not realize it was devoted mainly to the women of the adult entertainment industry.Obviously, I'm not looking for the same thing as many of the people on this site.

I'm interested in hearing from some of the long time members on this board on a estimate of the percentage of women on here who are actually looking for a long term relationship.

I realize that this site may not be for me, but I want to make sure before I head out.

Does anyone know of any message boards dedicated to dating transsexuals?

Whoa, totally untrue. Regular posters on this board who do not escort include Angela, Caleigh, Shalaya, and others. The myth that most TS are escorts is greatly exaggerated.

Oy, if anyone's looking at me with thoughts of long-term relationship they are barking up the wrong lamppost. After the seemingly endless train of baggage cars that define my past "love" life, my definition of "LTR" has come down to an escort that accepts credit cards.

That said...

An estimate of how many of the girls on here might actually be seeking an LTR would be just that; an estimate. Unless they've actually stated so in one or more of their posts to us, we'll never know. And as to whether or not you can trust what they say in that regard, it's just a matter of your own radar for the integrity (Or lack thereof) of the poster.

Was it Andy Williams or Dean Martin (Or both?) that sang "Everybody needs somebody sometime, woo-oo-woo..."? You can't just stamp an escort with an emotional death sentence and say "You can't have a long-term relationship". And you can't make assumptions about someone's status by who they choose to hang out with. Hell, if I used the every-TS-is-an-escort formula on myself, everyone would think I was lazy-ass, wealthy, politician. Untrue. Except for the lazy-ass part. I just hang out with those people because they amuse me (And I haven't been doing all that much hanging out with anybody in recent years). <Ponder> Maybe I'm a cat, because I've been spending a great deal of time with them lately. >^..^<

<Ponder> Last time I looked, HA was sponsored by 'purveyors of fine TS porn', so it's not unreasonable to assume that a significant number of its regular attendees are in the industry. Crikeys, Batman, if you wnat a different demographic of T-girls, go convince AFSCME or the ABEW to start a board/blog catering to the interests of T-girl municipal consultants or electrical contractors. :soapbox
