i suspect that had something to do with it

never been there on a Saturday but I imagine
it's the same story

I used to go the city and it just became to much of a
hassle and the parties aren't what they used to be
so I'll stay in queens.....besides everything is half
price......most of the girls live in the area so if you find
someone you like that can be very convenient

lol I googled this place and had to post the review I found. I don't know how accurate it is, but it was fucking hysterical to read:

Crowded I can handle, but imagine a bar/club that's like the 6 train during rush hour- now try to socialize. You pay a ridiculous cover charge, get padded down for weapons by Rock Steady and Be Bop from TNMT fame and pay outrageous prices for shitty drinks. You can't tell the bartenders how to make anything outside of their severely limited knowledge of mixology because the worst, most cliched music gay/Latino nightlife has to offer will be blasting at intolerable levels. This is what should be used to drive the Taliban out of their caves in Pakistan.

You should probably nurse that drink because it's going to take 15 minutes in line to get another one. Try not to make direct eye contact with too many people; it could start a fight. Bring latex gloves in case you have to use the restroom. B-list drag shows on weekends don't really match the atmosphere of the macho-sleeze crowd.

It's a good place to score a bag of blow, a prostitute, or a freebie from a trannie, but not much else. If you decide to tempt your fate, you should stock up on Amoxycillin and may God help you if you decide to take anyone home from this cesspool.
