Hmmm I wonder if it was the AOL room. It's a shame, but goes to show you have to be careful about the looney toons out there.

Guys really need to be screened before they're taken back to a girl's private residence, if at all.

But even if this was an outcall date, would this have decreased the odds of something going horribly wrong between the two of them???

Hope you die a painful death in prison, punk.

Just because a gurl trusts too much is no reason for this sort of two-legged garbage to get a pass.

Maybe her family and friends will rest easier and begin the grief process. I hope he gets what he deserves in jail.

Let's have a fair trial and then convict him

Despite what some might think, the NYPD actually has a pretty good record and has come along way in matters of LGBT "hate" and other crimes.

There have been more than a few cases in the media over the past several months and years of various hate crimes and murders of LGBT persons, and the NYPD has treated them the same as any other crime.

Does that mean one is always going to encounter enlightened LE officers, probably not, but that is true of the general population as well.

According to the New York Times, the suspect and deceased met in an Internent "chat room" and that the trannie "advertised her services as a prosititute". http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/15/nyregion/15transgender.html?src=mv

Article goes on to say at this time LE does not have a motive, and did not say what sort of "chat room" the two met in, and or if the guy knew she was a trannie. He did telephone before arriving at the trannie's apartment and within a few minutes after arriving screams were heard. Oddly the guy wasn't seen leaving the apartment (by video camera), until 17 hours later.

Queens (WABC) -- A 29-year-old Manhattan man who met a transgender Queens woman in an online chat room was tracked down in Las Vegas and charged with her killing.

According to Queens District Attorney Richard A. Brown, Rasheen Everett of Manhattan allegedly strangled the victim in her Glendale apartment and then pouring bleach all over the victim's body.

As happy as one is as the next person a suspect has been caught, don't know about "frying".

Persons have committed worse killings than this and merely been sent up on at best second degree murder, but usually first, or second degree manslaughter.

First degree murder is not on unless something in those email exchanges can show the guy went to the trannies apartment with the planned intention of causing her death.

Depending upon how good an attorney the guy gets, (even Legal Aid has some darn good ones), all sorts of things probably will come out.

In the end it comes down to the fact *all* criminal cases in NYS are pleaded down. The DA's office will make an offer based upon what they think they can get on conviction. Otherwise a smart attorney will force them to prove their case at trial. Though the Queens DA has gone on record saying his office will "seek the maximum ....", we shall see.

As for how they found the guy....

I've done told you, told you and told you all here in the group. The Po-Po can find out most anything from emails and or telephone records. This is why smart hoes wont even say anything in an email when a "date" asks for detailed information regarding a session.

All the Po-Po had to do in this case was to get a warrant to see the dead trannies phone and Internet records. All land line and cell phones keep a record of both incoming and calls dialed out. Once LE has that it is easy to track whom the last person this girl spoke to, especially since he telephoned shortly before her death. Also IIRC, the guy had her cell phone, which today is almost like a tracking device, especially if someone is dumb enough to keep using it after it was stolen
