Smokey, yes...but Let's Stay Together was NOT on Motown; it was on Hi Records (Memphis). Sorry!

Since many of my favorite songs are Motown ones, it would be hard for me to choose one. I Heard It through The Grapevine (Marvin's definitive version) stands out. Marvin's is the second version of the song; Gladys Knight and The Pips' version is the third. The true, original version? Smokey Robinson and The Miracles!

Yes...I like Creedence Clearwater Revival and Roger Troutman's versions as well...

'Stop in the Name of Love'
Joan Osbourne also covered 'What Becomes of the Broken Hearted' with the Funk Brothers that you can find on you tube. It's incredible!

Being from Motown I really like the music and have fond memories of hearing it in the car when we were kids. For anyone from the area it was on CKLW (canada station). I like most of all it.

It's impossible to pick a favorite but here's two that I love, both from the Funk Brothers movie. What Becomes of the Broken Hearted and You Really Got a Hold on Me
