I'm loving my iPad so far!!! I've had it for three days it's keeping me up all nite. I paid for the PDF reader & an office suite converter so I can expand my viewing pleasure!

I just want to surf the net without getting the endless pc viruses, freeze ups and spyware invasion. Opening a simple email message in less than 10 minutes would be nice. Finding my updated resume among hundreds of useless folders would be nice too.

What can the ipad do that makes it more reliable than a netbook (which is so much cheaper) ?

and PLEASE, if you're patient enough to respond to my question, make it in plain English without the tech jargon:confused: that I can't understand.
For those who know me I'm a person of simple needs.... on line porn, google, trading stocks, HA, facebook, ebay, travelocity

dude get 12 inch macbook pro ....u can run avg that has a free version for anti virus....things like netbook and ipad u need to pay for service like on a cell phone...if u don't travel with a laptop i would say get a desktop cause u have less problems and more bang for your dollar...get rid of aol and use Mozilla or safari and they have ad ons that warn u of risky sites b4 u click on it.... cause if u are running AOL 9.0 that is a big part of your problem..that shit tries to take control of your computer..they don't update that anymore that i am aware of so it leaves u very vulnerable to spyware and malware...

I have been jailbreaking since 1g iphone and i have yet to brick my device or any friends or family's that I helped as well. thats a 30+ success story, and year after year the process has only gotten easier, and faster.
