I NEED A BUTTON to quick disable active scripting and enable it.

how do I do THAT?

I dot not want to go into the tools and security setting to change it.

I recommend using Firefox + the NoScript add-on, so that you can toggle at will.

However, if you insist of using IE. The best solution is to customize your "trusted site" list. If you plan to toggle the scripting on the same site, then what you outlined is the only thing you can do.

You would need to write a browser helper object or activex plugin. Download Visual Studio and play around with it.

Why do you want to do this anyway? If you're looking to change settings on all computers in a network you're much better off using a Group Policy Object.
