Ingmar Bergman is definitely a great one. I also like Peter Greenway, who I think is English. Jose Mojica Marins aka "Coffin Joe" is pretty cool. I get into French "New Wave" a bit. During the Edo period of Japan, like 3 or 4 hundred years ago, Japanese tattoo art became a part of ukiyo-e - "the floating world culture". It also became the mark, often called 'irezumi' or 'horimono', associated with successful Japanese criminals; especially mafia and prostitutes.

It's a Shintoist sort of way to look at life ie. no dogma. The actual images are mostly Buddhist. and they pretty much reflect my outlook on life. I don't think I have the energy in my fingers to type my outlook on life at this moment though. lol

I used to work out pretty often. But actually, my work out now is being very hyper. lol I used to do 3 miles of cardio in 30 minutes every other day, religiously, for years. I also did Aikido almost every frikkin' day for about 6 years. But I never lost much mass from that, although I was healthy.

Then, about two years ago, I cut my caloric intake down to about 800-900 a day. That made a difference. I lost about 50 lbs. I eat mostly fish, poultry, green veggies, fruit, not many carbs, etc. Oh, and I eat oatmeal every morning. I love hot oatmeal with raisins.

But I drink 20 oz of coffee like 3 times a day. Coffee and cigarettes are my drugs of choice. lol But I only smoke about 3 ciggys a day now. Those, I cut back drastically on.
