In most urban areas, there are more tgirls around than you might think. Sure, the vast majority are clockable, but there are many tgirls whom are anonymous…

For me, I’ve recently begun dating a tgirl who’s as passable as any girl I’ve ever met, and she has her shit together, college educated, professional job etc. It’s the first time that I can actually imagine a ltr with a transwoman that I’ve met in real life (and not in a club) We’ve only gone out on two dates, and I have no idea where its going, but it feels good.

With Emily/HeavinglySin, (while she’s incredibly gorgeous and seems very sweet and I enjoy seeing every single one of her pictures) I can’t imagine posting photos is very wise. While none of her images are pornographic, I’m worried that she might regret posting them one day.

Emily is in college, the world is hers, and she has the opportunity to pursue most any professional existence she chooses.

While easy money is within grasp, I’d hate to see her go down that route. It would be nice to see her disappear, living a “normal-ish” life.

It would be enjoyable to see where her life takes her, but it would be even better to hear nothing.

And what work would that be? Could it be this...

DC guy,
The Genie is out of the bottle. She absolutely glows in the pics, just love and accept her and let her do what is right for her.

I'm just keeping it real on my end of things. I believe sex work is very important and has a lot to offer humanity and it makes me sad when people rail against it.

Glad you like my work though. :)

Trust me it has been anything but easy money.

I tend to think that sometimes taking the path of least resistance isn't always best thing.

I'm also just projecting my version of happiness on her future.

That's why there's angst.

Isn't it hypocritical on your part to bitch about the 'easy money' being made by sex workers and hoping your girl doesn't end up that way while posting on a porn forum?

What you have to remember is that these are the types of conversation she will have with whoever she's very close to in the real world off of this board. If she has a loved one..then that is the person who she will have this talk with ....not guys on this site.

I agree that sex work is very important, a world without pornography would be no fun, and its one of the oldest forms of art (ancient voluptuous mini-statues, more vaginas are drawn on cave walls than any animal)

And its not easy money, besides for the .1% who are mainstream.

Oddly, the best comparison to that I can make to porn is American football. Everybody watches it, its makes billions of dollars and many people rich, but everyone pays a price for playing.

It hypocritical, and that's why I'm conflicted, and hence the topic.

I'm not just talking about porn. I think prostitution has its place as well. I think sexual fulfillment and gratification are basic human needs and some people are just not able to acquire what they need through charm, love or manipulation.

If you guys really care about sex workers than you should step up and speak out against the punitive sex negative culture that shames prostitutes and porn stars and forces us into unsafe working conditions. Become an activist to transform our culture and support the beautiful women who choose to share their bodies and lives with you.

Charm and manipulation are pretty much the same thing. I'd include "beauty" as being #1.

As for standing up for sex workers, the most effective thing the average person can do is vote for the more socially liberal candidate in local elections.

Word.

When the voters of Minnesota knocked Will Shetterly out of the ring, in favor of Jesse "The Body" Ventura, legalized prostitution (Among other things) went by the wayside.

For every person that claims to support sex workers' rights and welfare there are ten more that will talk the talk and then walk right outta here before anyone they know recognizes them.

I empathize with the OP. I've had the heartthrobs for women (And men) in the industry more times than I can count. You never know when you might be the lucky one that scores relationship status with one of them. I lucked out once, many years ago, and it's a hard road to follow.

There are a lot of trust issues, severe concern as to their welfare, and the numerous nighttime calls, long drives in the cold and rain, coffee klatches in anonymous diners, panicky visits to the ER that make up your tenuous definition of a 'relationship'. Only your heart can measure the value and worth of these efforts and sacrifices.

I've read a number of gushy fanboy threads here and on other forums that profess true love and devotion to [Insert name of favorite star of the week here] and won't even begin to tally their quantity. I have no doubt as to the sincerity of the posts, but I can't put much faith in their longevity. A day, a week, a month later the OP sees a new rising star with bigger breasts, thicker cock, brighter eyes and the object of his original blue-steel hardon fades from memory.

Been there, whacked to that. The little brain has a very short memory when matters of the heart are concerned.

I honestly wish the best to any of the guys here and elsewhere that connect with these ladies (And I know of a small few that have), but please remember to wear your bullet-proof Y-fronts, because it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Bearded, you have very good points, and you must admit, high maintenance girlfriends are everywhere, gg or not.

Anyways, Emily isn't a "pornstar of the week", she's at a crossroads.

Don't be too quick to judge. I've only had my hands in the sex industry for less than five years (And fringed upon it for far longer than that) and I've seen a number of people dip into the job, duck back out, and disappear in very short order.

It's a very thin thread that one follows to determine who they might think needs to be 'saved' from this biz. Many are quite happy in it, bless 'em ('Else we'd have absolutely nothing to whack to).

When you think about it, a 'crossroad' could very well be a 'pornstar of the week' situation. Some people, many quite wisely, have chosen to end otherwise stellar careers as they were climbing the charts. For some it worked, others not.

I was simply speaking to the proliferation/omnipresence of fanboys that love [Insert name here] today, but instantly turn their loyalties to [Insert name here] tomorrow. If you get your shorts in a twist over stuff like that, you really need to find another woman that is in no way connected to the sex/porn industry.

Referring to Alaska btw.

This has to be the most delusional thread I've ever seen. A guy on a porn star board giving tips on sex work? let me grab a bowl of popcorn and hit email notification on this thread. How entertaining.
