At 77? Surprised she could find a surgeon willing to work on someone that old. Some of those surgeons have a maximum patient age. Dr Supporn's site says he starts showing people the door at 65 for SRS.

Maybe the story is one big fabrication? Wouldn't be the first time the media had some sensationalized trans-story only for the whole thing to be 100% lies.

I'm guessing the more pressing and discomforting thing for her was to

I believe I read somewhere in the article that she had been in the Navy,
and then did a tour in the Army, which isn't unheard of, for someone to
serve in two different branches of the militiary.
