Are you a major in Pornographic Studies?
You can major in that at many of the colleges in California.
Building your knowledge base and resume this way will be an edge over the competition when you start working in the industry.
You'll have to take a few prerequisites before you do the upper division work.

First you can enroll into ... " The Wood Shop " the Buddy Wood school of photography/cinematography.

Classes begin in the fall of 2011 so there is time to get tuition ready and invest in some decent camera gear. Also you can major in photography and minor in editing , or be undeclared and learn it all!

Get to work w/ the hottest and best girls the city of angels has to offer and build a portfolio. Guest instructors can include Willie Escalade on "Papparazi Shoots" and many others! :D

Hey college guy. I just noticed this thread. Yeah believe it or not I actually went to film school many years ago. I got into porn as a video editor (I just needed a job at the time) and then shortly after started shooting and editing all the DVDs for that company. I realized quickly that making porn invlolved everything I liked in production work (quick shoots, small or no crews, almost like pumping out student films) so I figured I might as well explore the niche I was a fan of... so I contacted Grooby, did a few photo shoots to prove my worth, then made Buddy Wood's Shemale Neighborhood. That was 5-6 years ago...now I'm working on my 13th DVD (Morgan Bailey's Bad Day), shooting for Yum non-stop and other Grooby sites and I'm busier than a bee but doing alright and having a fucking blast.

Honestly...it was almost like an experiment that turned into a career and has now become my life. I actually have a real name which I rarely use now here in L.A. lol
