Who's your favourite Serial killer? I'm a big admirer of Pete Sutcliffe. He always had a couple of pints at his local before he did the deed.

Ok to be my fave cereal killer you need the following:-

* Black sweat suit
* 15+ Cereal boxes depending on how tall you are
* A fake knife
* String
* Fake blood

Put on the sweat suit first then Put the cereal boxes on your arms, legs and the rest of your body besides your head. Tie them together with the string (so all cereal boxes are connected) then put the fake blood on and the knife in your hand

Fin.

He's definitely my favorite, no one knows how many he killed because he was so good at it, I've heard theories that he got as far as 300 done.

Though Jack the Ripper is a good contender as well, given that he never got caught.

How about some of the more under-appreciated ones like Mary Ann Cotton or the Bloody Benders?

The Bloody Benders were a family of serial killers who owned a small general store and inn in Labette County, Kansas from 1872 to 1873. The inn was a dingy place called the Wayside Inn

The Bender family home had a large room that was divided by a curtain. If a guest appeared to be wealthy, they would give him a seat of honor, with his back to the curtain. Kate would distract the guest, while John Bender or his son would come from behind the curtain and strike the guest on the skull with a hammer. The victim's throat was then cut to ensure his death. The body was moved behind the curtain and thrown through a trap door that led down into a cellar. Once in the cellar, the body would be stripped and later buried somewhere on the property, often in the orchard

Edmund Kemper. He didn't kill as many people as some of the others mentioned here but for sheer lunacy, he was tough to beat. His first victims were his grandparents at age 14. When the police confronted him and asked him why he did what he did, he replied that he wanted to see what it was like to kill grandma. Needless to say, he was sent off to the looney bin after that. After his release from the mental institution some five years later, he tried to behave for awhile but as they say, bad habits are hard to break and he began killing young women. He became known as the co-ed killer. Not only did he kill these women, he decapitated them and took them back to his apartment and had sex with them after he did his deed. As for his grand finale, he ended up beating his mother to death. He then cut her head off and had oral sex with it. If that wasn't enough, he ripped out her vocal cords and tried to flush them down the garbage disposal. When the vocal cords clogged the drain he later quipped to authorities it was only fitting since his mother was always nagging him.

Kemper remains incarcerated at California State Prison.

Charlie's not a serial killer, he's a mass murdered. Semantics, I know, but we must strive for clarity.

I live in NorCal, not far from where Charlie is housed, Vacaville.
Years ago I met a friend of a friend who started working at the prison. While she was given the 50cent tour they went to Charlie's cell. He pointed at her and screamed "You're the reason I'm hear" Made her day!

Jeffrey Damer. Killed, zombified and ate his victims.

Control was an all important issue for Dahmer. He could not tolerate rejection or abandonment. Even in his homosexual relationships, he did not want to please his sexual partner; he just wanted to have his own pleasures. Pleasure to Dahmer meant performing oral or anal sex on his partner, whether alive or dead.

This absolute need for control led him down some pretty weird roads. One of them was a kind of lobotomy that he performed on several of his victims. Once they were drugged, he drilled holes in their skulls and injected some muriatic acid into their brains. Needless to say, it caused death right away in a few victims, but one supposedly functioned minimally for a few days before dying.

Not surprisingly, his need for control led him to dabble with Satanism. In fact, just having the bodies of his victims around him made him feel "thoroughly evil." "I have to question whether or not there is an evil force in the world and whether or not I have been influenced by it. Although I am not sure if there is a God," Dahmer said," or if there is a devil, I know that as of lately I've been doing a lot of thinking about both." He had plans to create a shrine in his apartment, featuring all of his trophies, his statue of a griffin, and incense burned in the skulls of his victims, so that he could receive "special powers and energies to help him socially and financially."

Have a happy Halloween

While Jack has had a few previous mentions, I'm not sure if "Favorite" is the word I want to use. I have always had a fascination with the Ripper murders, perhaps because they were never solved, maybe because of the way the killer seemed to move undetected through the dark, foggy streets of Whitechapel in late 1888, like the fog itself. Jack the Ripper did not just murder his victims....he butchered them, he slaughtered them, and he enjoyed his work. The final victim attributed to him in London, Mary Kelly, was mutilated so badly, the flesh was stripped from her upper thighs down to her knees all the way to the bone. Most of her internal organs were missing, including her heart. This wasn't a man, Jack the Ripper was pure evil.

I am not a fan of serial killer but like most I find them interesting. This one shows the incompetance of the US justic system, they released him as an informant, his name is Scott Kimball. This sounds like something that would happen in the 50's or 60's but it was just a few years ago, 2003. If you want to read about this check out this web site "Free to KILL" (http://scottleekimball.com/)
