I think the thing that most guys don't understand is that the girls put in a RIDICULOUS amount of effort, over years and years, to look as good as they do now. It's impossible for us guys to imagine what these women have been through (and I'm not kissing up). The funny thing is, is that the girls, since they've put in so much effort, are very picky about their mates. They may seem imperfect to some men on here, but, to them. they're as beautiful as they've ever been and want their men to put at least half that energy into making themselves look good. Hence, slobs get no respect because they don't put in the most basic effort to their appearance.

well i can add to this, yes being a girl transitioning myself its a hard and costly path to take ... and yes we all try our best to look as good as we can for fans of the niche while we transiton .
i know i have been based many times in the past pre my boob job etc and even now i get some shitty comments about my face etc what not.. yes i fucking know my face is not picture perfect its called waiting to get FFS :) but we can only make do with what we have ...

Now usually most of the girls will just ignore the flak and shit but as some posters above have said, yes sometimes feelings get hurt with comments...so i agree that if its a nasty comment on your mind just let it go...

Felicia, gorgeous, I fully sympathise.

I went away from HA for a month or so for the same reasons. So many haters and criticisers on a site that's whole purpose for existence is to display the beauty and charm of genuinely lovely girls for admirers, and yet there responses show a real lack of common decency and civility sometimes. It's the few that spoil it for the genuine admirers.

But I've come back with the intention to champion for peace and harmony and love, and to stand between the girls and their attackers as much as possible.

I still feel that there should be be some kind of warning proceedure in place, to give some a chance to change their behaviors. Extra work for the mods? Yes, but you could send them a form letter, of delegate the duties to a specialist.

It used to really bother me, but know I tend to avoid discussions that lead to flaming, and when people say rude things about my appearance or work (which happens much less here than it does other places on the internet) I just take it with a grain of salt.

I think most of the guys here are pretty rad, and definitely most of the ladies I would be happy to sit down and smoke a spliff or have a drink and laugh with. Maybe I'm getting lazy, or more cautious, but I just don't see it as in my best interest to get offended easily.

I do wish the mods would switch my banners from my old site to my new one, I hate the photos my old webmaster used for my banners and it makes me uncomfortable to see photos I hate being flashed every time I browse....But that has nothing to do with anything.
