Hilarious!!

That look DOES NOT WORK for a white cop unless he's undercover.
It's not really a professional look for a Black cop either.

The point is to make fun of the white guy with the black haircut, funny if it was the other way around it would be all over the news.

IDK of any black cops that would wear breads unless your the vice or undercover. He couldn't explain why black officers with cornrows weren't ordered to get haircuts

This is reverse racism at its best. You should be fair with everyone.

While dozens of black officers across the city wear cornrows, Officer Thomas Strain is white. So when the five-year veteran showed up for work Sept. 3 with the traditionally black hairstyle, it didn't take long for his colleagues - or his bosses - to notice.

LOL wow unless these dozen officer's are undercover cops this is one the dumbest thing I have ever heard. We need the NAACP ASAP!

Didn't Jesse James used to keep his hair styled that way?

What does that have to do with the case of the Philly officer?

Anyways, it sounds like the PDP needs to clarify its policy on the hairstyles of uniformed officers.

By the way, the Philly officer did finally cut his hair. End of story.

People are reacting like its such a big deal for a white guy to have his hair that way.

Not at all Sarah. The case made local news because the white guy is a uniformed police officer. No one in Philly cares if civilian Joe Smith, a white male, decides to braid his hair.

Who in Philly honestly cares if a cop (white or not) has his hair styled that way?

With the amount of crap that's been going on in SW Philly lately I would assume that people in Philly have enough to think about atm.

Ok... so he was told to cut it off. Employers in the US make demands on the appearances of their employees all the time; and when they do, it usually is playing off of stereotypes.
