People's sexual proclivities are their own business. It should never be an issue.

People's sexual proclivities are their own business. It should never be an issue.

It's an issue if you're a public official breaking obscenity laws by having sex in public places.

Craig's bathroom exploits would have made just as much press if he was busted having sex with a girl in an airport bathroom. Congressmen can't do stuff like that and expect it not to become a big deal.

Although admittedly, the reason why he was busted was because the local police knew that gay guys were having casual hookups in that bathroom and had set a sting to stop it. Would the police have stopped it if it were heterosexual hookups in the same place? IDK, but it seems to be less common for there to be "heterosexual hookup hot spots" in public restrooms at airports.

I wouldn't unless I am going to get something out of it, like saving a friend from disappointment if he's interested in the girl.

First, it's none of my business. Second, it's a card that I can play with. Why just give that away for nothing?

It's not just because she's a tgirl. For example, If I am running for public office. I'm not going to reveal any unscrupulous activities of my opponent until we're near election time.

No. The whole outing public people thing had it's use back when gay people were as a whole closeted. But now it just looks mean, and like a violation of privacy.

In particular among transmen and women, outing can be very dangerous for the people you out. Even if someone appears to be out and loud they can be out to different degree's in different area's of their lives.

I am on the fence about this. I just hate folks who hide who they are and what they do. But on the other hand, the motives for most people doing the outing seems sinister and self-serving.

I have closeted freaks friends and they all seem tortured by being in the closet.
