with the uk DVD company I work with , we are working on a 3 part DVD piece of me that will be period set and have theme, but not getting the way of the sex ....each scene will have a purpose and interlink to the next ...All i will say is the setting is 18th Century :)

It might be difficult to have a story with a TG because of eccentrics of their physicality’s can be unnerving in a narrative mode. It would be hard to concentrate on the storyline.

I would personally love to see a romantic storyline featuring a TG and a male co-star. If I could be that co-star, there is only one female I would want to share that romantic movie magic making moment with.

I think the niche is headed that way now. As a producer we have to work on generating the content that sells. Demand on the boards is one thing, and we certainly appreciate the feedback we get on here, but we also have to watch the sales firgures. There is a lot of cost to a production between talent, locations, time, post production, etc. In this recession when web sales are down everyone is being more careful. Sometimes this is good and sometimes it inhibits growth of a niche.

In the case of our niche I think it has helped. Producers are looking at ways to stand out and make more sales. Rather than blitz the market with a ton of content there is a movement to bring better quality products to market. Not only on DVD but also VOD and web sites.

I much prefer porn with a story line and am happy to see the market moving that direction. I have some interesting stuff and I know Buddy is working on several cool projects as well. I am sure the other companies are also gearing up to move in this direction.

I've always thought this concept must be very hard to achieve, there are so many variables to take into account & contrasting identities for a piece to over come.

Then there's the sex, it has to be integral to the story and flow with the narrative, without standing out like a saw thumb. No bang bang, passionate & involving to the viewer, erotica not primeval.

It must be achievable but when you look a legendary movies it eiher takes a stella cast or a big budget and even then they either make it an all out sex movie or a romantic film that merely suggests sex.
