Welcome back, Jen! I've been trying to stop smoking for ages, what's your secret?

My secret.....?

Well on day 1 i started to re-paint my house. This was to get rid of the horrible yellow gunk covering my walls after 2yrs of cigarette and VERY heavy weed smoking. I found this to be VERY cathartic as seeing how bad the walls and ceilings were made me constantly think about the state of my lungs, it also gave me someting to do with my hands. I didn't just give up smoking cigarettes I gave up weed after 20yrs of smoking it on a daily basis which means i now have this crazy abundance of energy so painting also gave me something to replace my busy schedule of getting stoned up to the eyeballs every day.

If i feel like a cigarette now i simply look up at the small yellow patch of ceiling above my stairs that hasn't been painted yet (Too high and scarey for me to do) and the feeling usually passes pretty quickly.

That and the fact that i don't want to die of cancer.
