Why do porn stars change their names?

When looking for a performer or model it sometimes gets tuff to find what movies she has done or maybe new pictures.

Example: Thays Dumont is also Agata Lopes or Agatha Lopez

This also goes for GG performers and models.

sometimes they get tired of the name they had, or it dont quite sit right into the niche ...usually you find this with model and escorting ..

Also if the model has been away a long time, reinvented themselves especially in the trans niche... To be honest i was quite close to changing my name once i started my hormones / had my implants, fixed my hair ....as I felt there is more TV content of me on the net at present than transsexual as Liberty... But then i thought its good for people to see where you have come from ..but i do know models that had 1 name as a TV, then when they are further in Transition they relaunch with a new name / look .

for escorting i used to use a different name (Domino) and Liberty for my modelling....Though now i just keep it all as Liberty/Libby.

Yeah. That is really annoying. I also hate it when they use incredibly common names. Like Jessica or Kate. Especially when only the first name is used. This seems really common on TS porn movies.

It makes it really hard to get right when you find a girl and you are into her at the momment and want to find more pictures but you can't because all of the sudden she has a new name.

Sometimes they do let it be known that they were once "so and so" but then there are some that don't.And that is what makes it hard.Don't get me wrong I like going on the search.

Most of the TS girls I know have gone by several names, it's part of the culture. I'll be out with some of the girls and we'll be talking about the old days on Merchant Road and "x" will come up, but maybe I know her by "y" and she now goes by "z" You just gotta roll with it!
