Well would it be better if blacks murdered whites? The problem is, a majority of people that carry guns for "protection" usually end up losing them to the person that's attacking them because they lack the knowledge of how to use their fire arm. So many people think a weapon a gun is just point and shoot. They never learn to properly aim or control a weapon. Not to mention the amount of people that when push comes to shove won't actually pull the trigger when aiming at another human being.

As for blacks being killed by blacks, I'm sure in your mostly white area, most whites are killed by whites.

I think that Black on Black crime goes further than just the color of ones skin. One has to look at all races in the U.S. to see why blacks are more susceptible to crime. Blacks are amongst the highest percentage of ethinicities to be raised by one parent. Blacks are also amongst the highest ethnicities to live under the poverty level. This lethal combination leads to a limited amount of resources to climb out of the cellar of society.

More guns is not the answer. Too many guns are being found by curious teens who don't have good judgment. We had an accidental death here in town yesterday from teens who found a loaded gun. I have a nephew who found someone's gun. He shot someone during a turf confrontation. Now friends of the victim jumped on my nephew's sister. So we have cycles of violence being fueled by guns.

The answers have to come with changing minds. We should be trying to teach people that the meaning of self respect is respecting others. Kids get caught up in the power of gangs, but gangs take power from the person rather than give it.

One thing that contributes to community decay is too much punishment of fathers over lack of money. The taking of drivers licenses and throwing men in jail for child support makes them less able to be there for their families. The biggest factor I have seen to make a father want to contribute, is to see his children. And the sooner, and the more often the better it is.

As a white man with numerous black friends and even a few family members, I know that blacks can achieve WAY more on average than they are.

There are JUST as many whites,if not more,on welfare.Drugs and gangs are a huge issue,not fuckin' welfare..lol.There is so much quick,tax free money in selling drugs that they fuel the gangs.From that comes the pen where you come out a worst criminal than when you went.The carjackings,stick-ups of other drug dealers,and any high profile person.The drugs almost fuels everything,the guns,the balls to use them.Hispanic gangs are facing the same thing.White did the same thing when alcohol was illegal.

Except it wasn't a preface, it's the last thing I wrote. Though pretty cliché sounding, I do indeed have black friends and black family members (through marriage). I'm the godfather to a lovely young black girl. I hope that she doesn't grow up and embrace the self-destructive culture modern day blacks have created for themselves.
