I just got an email notification that I have a private message here, and then I checked my inbox and it was gone. Has this happened to anyone else? Am I the only one?

Often I get notification a day after I already read the pm. Sometimes I get confused by the lateness and think the notification is for a new pm.

No this was different. I was browsing HA and I noticed it said up top that I had 1 new message, and I got an email notification at the same time that I had a new message, then when I checked the PM's it was gone.

Might have been me?? You pm-ed me with a thankyou message recently, and then I pressed reply to say you're welcome, but aborted thinking, you're such a busy girl already, why gush like a babbling fan.

It could be that someone has posted you a PM and then deleted it before you read it....unlucky timing.
