I agree with you. The man was something of a folk hero. He died in a strange way in a city, while friendly to Americans, is known for its sex industry. He may have been murdered. Obviously this shouldn't push more important news off the headlines, but I don't think it's a non-story.

I've seen a Ladyboy break a Sailors jaw and another one last 3 rounds with a Force Recon Marine before her trainer threw in the towel. Some of them are no joke.
