i watched it and thought it was great. im really interested to see where they take the jason stackhouse and Lafayette story lines

I haven't watched it yet but have it waiting to be watched. I want to wait til further in the week so it doesn't seem as long a wait for the next episode. After watching the first season I considered reading the books. Has anyone else read them? Love Alan Ball.

i was wondering myself what everyone thought of the books. i was thinking about picking them up, but I'm a little hesitant because i don't want to read them and ruin the show for myself.

when i found out that alan ball was involved in this, it piqued my interest. i luv, luv, luv american beauty and i luved towelhead. so this guys ok in my book. so i will be checking this out. definetly :)

Good 1st episode this year. Pretty much every storyline in the show is interesting.
