I enjoy playing a lot of old SNES games(RPG's mostly) on an emu. The DS has some great RPG's as well, so I've been playing that a lot.

I have a few hobbies, and video games is one of them. Pretty much I either have it, want it, or know of it. As far as this Gen goes, I have a 360 and PS3 for Consoles and PSP and DS Lite for handhelds. Of course there's also my trusty PC, which I am playing Half Life 2 on at the moment.

classic NES is probably my Fave.. been meaning to play mirror's edge but I'm too damn busy nowadays. I'm admittedly a year or so behind the curve right now just out of poverty.

Im mainly a PC gamer. I dabble with the consoles occasionally I just find the same games on PC are deeper and have better graphics. At the moment i'm playing Fallout 3, Farcry 2 and GTA IV. Thinking about buying Prototype when it comes out next week but not sure if it will be any good.

I used that too for a long time (I bought a Wii just for it, lol) but only use it on and off now, mostly doing the yoga and strength exercises. I just don't like how you can't make a long non-stop routine for 30 or 60 minutes even though the interactiveness makes it a bit more fun than normal exercises. However I just learned about Wii Fit Plus and it looks like they are fixing all these issues. I'm also interested in the EA Sports Active. Never heard of it til the other day and wonder if anyone has tried that? When it comes to exercise at home though, I stick mostly to my videos.

yes im thinking of wii fit also i really like playing with it at the same time toning and exercising my body. wii sports really help me a lot to mantain my weight and figure. i like almost all the sports theme games in wii even the beijing olympics games so much fun

I have a Wii and a ps one an atari 2600 flashback. For the Wii I love the lego games(star wars, batman and indiana jones) and I have Wii fit and EA sports active. Mostly play rpgs on the wii, along with downloading n64 and snes and nes games on the wii.

Yes I play video games and I love them. I play XBOX360, which is the best console available. PS3 is crap and if you own one I hope you watch a lot of blu-ray or something. PS3 is terribly failing, 360 is the way to go. I also love old games especially Super Nintendo!!! So I got a bunch of SNES games and an SNES off Craigslist and now I'm playing all of these games my friend gave me too. I just actually got it today, I might just resell it for more money but for now I'm enjoying it.
I might be getting The Bigs 2 for 360 which is a fun game and the only decent baseball game on 360.

Let me just touch on the Wii since I said 360 is the best available. Nintendo Wii is a good and fun system, but best when played with others together unlike other systems. The best thing about Wii is Wii Sports and Virtual Console, Wii Sports 2 is on the way I know that. Nintendo's already released all of their best games, which are the Mario games and Zelda, so it doesn't have much of a bright future in games. Also, Wii is no longer the cheapest system available and with all that 360 offers, theres not much of a reason to pay more for a Wii. So overall Wii is a good system, but it doesn't have a strong lineup of games. I love Nintendo they really started it all and then Playstation just tookover and now Microsoft.

If anyones interested in buying a system or systems you can let me know and sometimes I can get great deals. 360 is first choice.

As I mentioned before I love gaming, Originally I was looking to buy a PS3 instead of 360, my reasons was that if my friends got a system they would get PS3 and just that it was going to be a newer system. When I found out it was going to be $600! I thought nah 360 is only $400 and has better online and everything else. Well I knew I made the right decision, I knew people buying PS3 for mainly Final Fantasy 13 and Resident Evil 5. I told them over and over that 360 would get those games also. As soon as RE5 released they were buying 360 and playing RE5 on there and instead sold their PS3's. PS3 has some exclusives, but the exclusives for the most part don't have good online and they aren't games really worth buying a system for.

Let me tell you, I was and am against PS3 for the reason that it only is relying on multiplatform games that aren't even as good as on 360. Their exclusives didn't release until years later after the consoles release and they continue to take forever to release their exclusives. 360 pumps lots out and they appeal to a lot more people and have online play.

When MGS4 came out I bought a PS3 since I like games that much and was bored with 360. Well that game got boring fast, watching 20 hours of cutscenes and just doing the same things over and over. I thought well I really like Tekken games that would be a reason for PS3 too, well too bad thats coming out on 360 now too. I realized I would rather play FIFA on XBOX360, because of controller and many other reasons. So I sold the PS3 shortly after buying realizing I was completely right, it's junk.

I've also owned a Wii, but realized all of what I said before about it.
Now I just have 360 and SNES, that's all I need. I would maybe consider buying Wii again but it'd be a waste of money until they can offer more games. Especially because their console doesn't have as many options as 360.

Why is PS3 failing? Because 360 is kicking their ass, PS3's main selling point is Blu-Ray and not their games, which is a problem. Most people who stand by Ps3's are people who swore allegiance to their PS2's they loved so much. Ps3 just isn't selling, there used to be people who would buy it for just blu-ray but now you can get blu-ray cheaper, with 360 available at half the price not as many people are buying it. All of these are reasons why they're failing, also their lack of exclusives. These are all also part of the reason why Activision announced they might stop making games for PS3 altogether, since they don't see as much profit as they do with 360.

It's true, when you take into account the online play, the friends list, the achievements, and everything else, 360 is better. The 360 is half the price of the PS3, $200 vs. $400, so if I wanted to play multiplats I think I'd make the smart choice and go with 360 like most people do. I'm sure we can atleast agree the multiplats are about the same, so why would you buy a system 2x the price of the competitors to play those games? If your a fanboy still stuck on how good PS2 or if you want Blu-Ray, that's why. Another reason I said they're better on 360 is that most of the big gaming magazines agreed. They looked and compared Need for Speed, Call of Duty 4, GTA 4, and Half-Life 2 on both systems, they all reviewed the 360 as being better.

It's not all about graphics either buddy, your defense fails.

Also those sales might be true, but like I said before. People used to buy PS3's just for blu-ray, but they aren't doing that anymore because theres cheaper BluRay players out there now. PS3 sales are slowing and 360 sales are increasing. Also the games on the PS3 aren't selling as good as on 360, that's the big part of it too.

With all the features PS3 has it makes up for it's price, plus PS3 has trophies and online that's not full of kids.

i own a ps3 and 360. my ps3 is collecting dust, while i use my 360 almost every other day. the problem with ps3 is the lack of games and the price, as has been said already. i must say as an owner of both systems, ps3 is a huge disappointment (as of july 2009).

as an example, i too will use mgs 4. this was the main reason i bought my ps3. now while mgs 4 was a great looking game, and it was, it was way too short and it felt like it was 50% cut scenes with very little gameplay. i still believe mgs 3 for the ps2 was way better in every aspect. in fact, mgs 3 may be my favorite game ever. i also bought my ps3 for two other games: hitman 5 and god of war 3. i really wanted to play these games; especially hitman 5.

i mean, ps3 was released in nov 2006, and hitman 5 and god of war 3 are no where to be found. hitman 5 has yet to get a release date, and god of war 3 is scheduled for april 2010? 2010!? i mean come on.

also, most other games that i wanted at the time for ps3 were already on the 360. bioshock, fallout 3, soul caliber 4, dead space... you know the list. and i have no reason to buy blue rays since all the titles i would want i already own on dvd. plus i'm never gonna re-buy 500+ blue ray titles when i already have these exact same titles on dvd just so i can see a better quality picture.

the ps3 has so much power to be the greatest system ever, but sony just can't seem to get it right. the only thing they did right was take my $600 when they released the system.

I really have no idea honestly. I do however like the idea of a reboot to the Final Fantasy MMO along with the excitement of everything being new again. I remember when I first played XI and how exciting it was so I hope this will feel similar / nostalgic for me, but with a new age twist. I grew up on Doom, Quake, Unreal Tournament. I loved a game called Aliens Versus Predators back in the day because it had real depth, 3 distinct races, different abilities, etc...

I like FPS, but really ever since the Latest Aliens Versus Predator pile of crap they put out, i kinda hung up my FPS hat.

sounds like a nice setup but I would go up to 4gig of ram with a 64bit OS. If you're running a 32bit OS it won't read above 2gigs =P

Throwbacks are always great. Xbox Live has a downloadable version of the old TMNT game. The graphic are primative compared to what's out now but still good enough to entertain. I totally LOVED Mario 3. The first time I saw him fly, I sat there with my mouth open like WOOOOOOOOW! LOL

Golden Axe was another great one but I only played it in the arcades. If you really want to go back, try After Burner or Altered Beast on the original Sega Master System. :)

The multiplayer is the Templars attempt to train their soldiers to fight like the Assassins.

There was no way I could bring myself to buying and XBOX 360 and knowing that so many people have had broken ones....that would go against everything I was taught.

I wouldn't buy a toaster if I knew it was gonna break.

XBOX 360 does have some nice games, but as a system, its the biggest turd of a system ever fabricated for the video gaming industry.

Maybe these new ones will be better, but I wouldn't trust it yet.

Anyway, I've kind of been out of video game mode. Was playing some Tekken 6, Skate 3, and I still need to finish Dead Space (i'm really jumpy and only play it at night with all the lights out >_>). I beat Red Dead Redemption 100% a while back. Fun stuff. I also need to play FFXIII, I bought it but haven't been interested in playing an RPG. I cannot WAIT for Gran Turismo 5 though. OMG that game looks so amazing. All the features and stuff, it's gonna be amazing.

Not really since i'm more of a single player campaign kinda gamer.

I might rent it but i'm not rushing to play it.

I'm hoping for either a new "Thief" game or the modern day reboot of the first game they hinted at awhile back.

KISS always put on elaborate stage productions and that would translate well to a game aesthetic and w/ Green Day , Van Halen , Metallica , Beatles , AC/DC and Aerosmith games a KISS game is likely to happen.

I used to play a ton... then family responsibilities sucked away what little time I have to play LOL

I do have a Wii and PS3 and a PSP. I actually pretty much NEVER use the PS3 for games. It's primary function is as my media hub/DVR replacement LOL The fact that it can play games is just a bonus feature for me.

My Wii definitely gets more use, especially now that my daughter is old enough to actually play it. Helps that mine is jailbroken and plays games off a hard drive hehe no discs required!

Most of my gaming is done to and from work on the train using either my PSP or my iPod touch. I have my PSP and iPod touch jailbroken as well so it lets me play all the classic NES/SNES/Genesis etc games from childhood which I find to be more entertaining anyway. I agree with Lucia the older games are better ;) right now I'm in the middle of Final Fantasy IV

I don't play too many "modern" games. My computer is too old and I just don't have the time. I tried playing RfoM on PS3 but I just couldn't do it without keyboard and mouse support and the adapter I bought for it just doesn't cut it.

I definitely need to pick up StarCraft 2, but again little time.

I think my next purchase will be Portal 2 as I'm a HUGE fan of the first one.

i remenber ff xi whem the ps2 game came out there was alot hate between pc and ps2 i spend almost 2 years playing the game war/monk sam/war i was a tank lv 75 i play from 7pm to 3 or 4 am 6 days a week lol fun game and after 1 year only play for 3 to 4 hours i just want it to have fun but some stupid players take the game or think the game is real life i stop playing on partys this is a game to have fun not to live another life... the game is sweet love it i cant wait for the ps3 to come out it ill be fun LOL and be sure i be kicking ass as a tank

I picked up the red dead redemption liars and cheats pack and its awesome, i'm really enjoying the horse racing and poker i don't care too much for the stronghold game mode.

I can't wait for the next re dead dlc because its suppose to be some kind of zombie mode.

It's awesome the poker and horse racing makes it really worth it in my opinion you can spend a good amount of time in both modes.Stronghold is a fun mode but attackers seem to always have the advantage.Don't really care for the extra characters but you can play as characters from the game in multiplayer some people might like that.

Look at the artwork for rdr dlc undead nightmare,i really can't wait for it to come out.
