We all know about the scandalz on craigslist... it was a gr8 source of income for some of us while it lasted.

Anyone else know of any good sites with high volume of users besides eros and backpage?

Craigslist filed a restraining order against the South Carolina Attorney General who's trying to make a name for himself politically by soapboxing against their erotic section. I bet it's back to normal by the end of the year.

i noticed the 'services/other' section of www.kijiji.com has exploded with escort ads, same with google base

SPOC one of the unions for prostitutes here said they'll make their own worldwide free site exactly like CL if Craigslist takes down erotic services in Canada, because they claim it will force girls back into the streets. Since Canada has lax copyright laws CL won't be able to stop them.

You guy's need a sex worker union or advocacy group in the US, then you can launch endless constitutional challenges to the prostitution laws like they did here to force the government into tolerance/legalization. The unions here will cover bail or take care of your pets if you're in jail, pay for all your legal costs and have even started to provide incall housing.

since the beginning of all this cl nonsense i had known about LE's association with CL. The reason they started charging $5 to post in the first place was to be able to track down the girls who have prior records. CL is not a professional site like eros and i dont feel comfortable with them having my personal info. (Even though they already do) LE can be pretty brutal, i mean, look how much money goes into tracking down people for simple non-violent misdemeanors. I have been arrested before, and have seen what extremes they will go through to fill their quota. It's really not cute. My fear with using CL is that they have ur CC info and can look into recent activity, and stake u out @ ur hotel or residence and arrest u for a simple loiterring or solicitation charge if they can't get you for prostitution. They will do this based on the number of people who come in and out, whether they are clients or not

avoid LE by contracting out all your escort ads to programmers in India for around $30-80

Like this person has ($65)

Also note, this is why you can't trust any escort reviews http://www.getafreelancer.com/projects/Data-Entry/TER-Posting-Escort-Reviews.html

Establish your self as a legitimate business, and obtain a business license. (if escorting is legal in your state, it is in most) Have you clients sign a form upon arrival that they understand that they are not paying for sex (as it says on your ad). Keep records of the amounts of customers you have and pay your taxes. Maintain contact with your lawyer, and you will not have any problems.
