I've had a couple of Mazdas over the years and they always impressed me with the build quality and finish versus price. Plus they are cute.

IDK about Scotland but over here straight guys wouldn't be caught dead in a Miata... unless they're gay (or at least, that's how the stereotype goes).

I wouldn't be surprised if that's different over there though, on account of how small so many European cars are.
