Many of you may remember her from Paris is Burning, and if you are in NYC, she was a legend in so many ways.
She passed last night.

I know she had to have all her silicone scraped out of her hips and legs, and that she recently had an operation on her brain.

She always had this vivaciousness and energy about her.....

I know MANY girls in NYC are mourning her passing.......she was a transgender icon.

This was one very special lady .....I met her yrs ago when i was just a young curious teen,and we have stayed in touch till recently. She was very beautiful gentle and warm ..

No more suffering ..she is in a better place now ..

i saw paris is burning a few years ago... Awesome movie. i'm so sorry to hear she died. She had contract AIDS some time ago (I mean a LONGGGGG time ago.), but was living with it quite fine. She was also battling cancer. Who would have known?

To show you how fierce she was she walked a ball late last year after she
had chemo treatments.
She walked the runway for face with a bald head and STILL looked lovely.
Some girls just are naturally beautiful and she was one of those.
These is video out there of her walking that ball and when she revealed her bald head the crowd just gagged!
