Wow. This is a coincidence. I was close to starting a thread asking about some good colognes to try. 99% of the time I don't use anything other than soap and deodorant. But every now and then I use Old Spice pure sport cologne. Its cheap and basic and I wanted to upgrade to something nice and more high class. Guess my next stop is making a list of the ones here and heading to the local mall to test them.

Its funny. My mom gets me cologne almost every year for Christmas but its usually really bad. Its like the salespeople convince her to buy the crappiest (most in stock) item they have. One year she even got me Paris Hilton's cologne. Smelling like failure and cheap hooker spit at the end of a busy night is one thing... But to start your evening smelling that way before anything happens is just wrong.

I use CK B pretty unoriginal but girl loves it. GOt this cheap cologne from her parents for xmas and wore it the other day and she said whats that smell? And i said it is my cologne probably. This is weird but she compared the smell to a tampon disposal unit that the girls have in the toilets (weird analogy huh). I later told her it was the cologne her parents gave me and she said her parents wouldnt have got it, if they could have smelt it first (all part of a gift pack).

Royal Copenhagen for over 35 years is still my favorite. Wife bought me a small bottle of Dolce & Gabbana about 4 years ago. Not my cup of tea, but it seemed to do wonders for her.

When I was in high school it was all about the Drakkar Noir

But when I got to college a female friend turned me onto Bel Ami by Hermes.
I have to be careful with it though, and put it on at the last possible moment before leaving for the evening because it will quite literally cause my wife to drop to her knees and suck my cock.
actually not that I think about it I should put it on earlier.

People may laugh but I am still partial to the original Paco Rabanne (1973). A true classic, sophisticated scent. Clean and subtle. Though I have met many who cannot stand it because it reminds them of what their father or grandfather used to wear back in the day.

I am open to any suggestions. Are any of Paco's newer men's colognes any good?

See! This is what I love about HA. When we expand our collective minds and immerse ourselves in discussions other than porn and escorts. We need more topics like this.

While I have the podium I'd like to give a shout out to the makers of BRUT 33. Best fragrance for a teenage boy. Nothing conceals the odor of pubescent boys quite like Brut. Let's face it. Teenagers need about 3 showers a day, but in the absence of that, good ol' Brut got me through middle school and high school.
