For the most part, what has become known as the trannie "scene", mostly revolves around prossing and or other types of sex work.

Clubs, personal adverts, CL, chats, and the rest.

Not saying all trannies at a TS bar, party or club are working, but the numbers speak for themselves.

Non-working trannies usually avoid the scene not only because of this, but also because most of the men one finds at such places tend to be chasers and or players.

You probably stand a better chance of finding a non-working TS at a ST8, or even gay bar/party. Or, you can just keep your transdar up and spot one as she goes about her business in the general population.

The last bit not withstanding, having gainful employment does not always equal a trannie who does not turn dates. As the another poster stated, their are girls who run ads and otherwise quietly turn dates.

Personally chalk it up to the high cost of living in many major urban areas, such as New York City. Coupled with the rather low wage jobs many trannies find employment. These are the same pink ghetto jobs for the most part GGs work in as well, and it is darn hard to live in NYC on less than $50,000 a year, even more so for a trannie who has medical and cosmetic expenses above what a GG would have.
