What's your bootup time on your personal computer?

My MacBook Pro is 30.3 seconds

'06 black macbook - 50 seconds. Great...now i want to do a reinstall. :)

Black macBook 2.16Ghz with 1GB ram 32seconds (including time to click name and input password)
mac mini 1.83 Ghz with 1GB ram 25 seconds

eee1000 the pc with the slowest hdd in the world
30 secs including the time spent loading and choosing w7 in the boot manager

45 secs...went in the startup via msconfig and unchecked all those programs....is fast enough 4 me...

what exactly are you including in start-up? just the time it takes for the desktop to pop up?

45 seconds,with ALL programs loaded. Toshiba Satellite series

the time from me hitting the power button to the system is up and running

it's my own personal laptop so I don't have a pw login

but 30.3 secs later I am able to jump on secondlife or firefox

19 seconds in windows 7 64bit 7057 build .. 14 seconds in the latest Ubuntu Build .. both of these are from boot up to login screen. I'm using 3.2 GHZ I7 8 GB DDR2 800MHZ single ge force 9800 GT

on my 2 year old toshiba satellite its almost 2 minutes before I have an IE browser open and ready to go

wow, I got a '99 Dell and it boots in 25-30 seconds..Used to be like 6-8 minutes when Mcafee loaded on startup...but took Mcafee off and now its less than 45 secs..

Soon as MS gets a decent OS, I'll break down and get a new PC! Say by 2030! :frustrated
