Another interesting thing about this passage, is Jesus started off talking about marriage. "Male and Female, he made them." Jesus starts off saying. I have heard people use this part to attack trans and gays. But someone specifically asked him about eunuchs, and thus this verse.

According to my current understanding, at the time some men were castrated as a result of being conquered in battle, and of appointment to certain posts. St. Paul met and converted a eunuch who was, like the head the treasury for an entire country in that region. However, some say the term "born eunuchs" included those not attracted to women, which would include gays as well. If that is true, then it would include those who did not have actual 'surgical' proceedures.

So the bottom line is that a lot of people claim to love and follow Jesus, but do not follow his teachings on certain issues.

And by the way, eunuchs were also discussed in the Koran or the book about the traditions of the Prophet called the Hadith. This includes some in-person interactions with at least one.
