Shaq, Diddy, Ashton Kutcher etc. are all over it. Can someone pls help understand what this latest craze is all about. and if your on it whats your twitter handle.

I think the kids (25 and under) are still on myspace and the older folks have gone to facebook.

I got my myspace 5 years ago, Facebook came out around 5 years ago(or my school got put on it 5 years ago). Originally facebook was only for college students. You had to have a college email account to set it up. It also took a while to get to certain schools. I think about 3 years ago they later opened it up to high school. After that it was open to the public. Facebook has just recently chagned its setup and its now like twitter. You can now post what you doing every minute.

Twitter isn't all that special but I guess it has it uses. If you are into texting you can use it as a replacement but only if your friends are using it also. However, some people have gotten into trouble for not knowing how to send tweets to just one person vs the world.

twitter is also a pretty great business tool. i've gotten a number of clients from it, and can follow industry updates as they happen.

twitter is fun if u actually have friends. Myspace and facebook get too dramatic with so much spam and pointless notes from so many losers. Twitter is cool cuz its simple. Once u start adding people u DONT know, it can get pretty annoying, but a lot of the celebs actually talk to u on there

For those on facebook, just to let you know, they own anything you put up on their site, if you put it up there you forfiet the rights to it. I've had many artist friends lose their work to that site.

i think twitter is fucking pointless. facebook has taken interest in my eyes as of late because myspace is tryin to hard to be like everyone else... so much to the point that it's just not enjoyable. aside from that everyone i knew on myspace made the jump to facebook... so i have no use for myspace other than as a promotional tool for my record label. while twitter... is just bullshit. like i care if you need to go get groceries... at least facebook has interesting posts on it lol.
